But this place was freakish, and never more clearly than now as I pushed through a crowd gathered around a transparent tank in which an armless and horribly burn-scarred man wearing nothing but a Speedo sat among thousands of hairy spiders that crawled over his body like a shivering coat of fleece. The onlookers squealed as the object of their delight opened his mouth, inviting one of the hairy crawlers inside. When the spider accepted the invitation, their voices grew even shriller. When the man bit into it, they lost all semblance of belonging to a civilized species.

With a crash, the thick glass was smashed into pieces, and then Spider-Man rushed in from the outside. In terms of destructive power, Ma Wenzhuo, who had reached the ninth level of the Supreme Power Realm, was much formidable than the real Spider-Man. After entering the 17th floor, he destroyed everything in his path as if he was a humanoid tank. Thankfully, his target was just the facilities in the building, so he did not attack anyone. "Crap, Spider-Man is coming. Run!" The staff in the office building had no idea what was going on. They dashed out of the building in a panic. Several security guards made to rush over to stop him, but Ma Wenzhuo threw them into the air with one punch.

I said, my voice getting louder with each word. A large disfigured spider, almost the same size as me, jumped out; its eyes were pitch black, and it had a scorpion's stinger at its back. "Stay away!" I yelled as I struggled. "Is someone there?! Magnus! Meredith!" I transformed halfway into my wolf form and growled at the spider, hoping to scare it away, but it persisted forward. The spider's beady eyes fixed on me, and it charged towards me with an eerie screech. I screamed, struggling to escape from the grip of the quicksand. But the spider ran straight into the quicksand, sinking like I was.

Jake watched a dark red slimy substance flow out from the top of the can, descending down its sides and began to slowly creep towards him, reminding him of Venom, the alien from Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. The scary gooey substance hissed and Jake could see small bubbles pop out of it like it was boiling. At one point, some of the substance lurched out at him, landing on his left arm which began to burn like hell. It felt like hot lava, smoldering his skin. He was just about to scream when someone put a hand on his shoulder. “Excuse me, is this yours?” The burning immediately stopped as Jake turned to find a young woman with glasses standing in front of him, her hand outstretched toward him,

The maze seemed endless, the walls pressing closer with every step. The skittering returned, the spider relentless in its pursuit. I stumbled into an open chamber, the first space I’d seen that wasn’t a narrow corridor. It was circular, the walls lined with jagged spikes. In the center was a pedestal with a glowing orb hovering above it, pulsating with a faint, golden light. Instinct told me the orb was my way out. The spider burst into the chamber, its legs clicking menacingly against the floor. It circled me, its massive body blocking every exit.

Maiko Chiba also tossed Clara Beck’s mother onto the ground. With Uncle Drake and Fairy Doctor’s aura around, the demonic spiders with human faces didn’t dare to get close. “Master, what is this thing?” Maiko also felt strange. The Humanoid Spider was slightly bigger than a bull, and its body was black and white. Its face was terrifyingly pale as if it was wearing a mask. Silently, Lucas thought that the spider was capable of scaring everybody back in Hatton. 'It is a spider, but it has a human face.' "I never expected a human to show up in my territory."
