The men start running towards me as the Spider talks something hastily into his earpiece.

Well, he had just taken his other slipper and smacked the spider with it so it squashed with all of it’s legs flattened out against the floor. “Gross.” I almost gag at the sight. “Is it finally dead?” I see one of its legs move in response, as if it had heard and understood me, letting me know that it was not going to go down without a fight. Fortunately, his movements ended and Taranis ended up throwing out the entire flip flop that it was stuck to. “Can we also throw out this room?” He says with disgust as he closes the front door, having thrown it away in the garbage.

My face stayed blank as I tossed it straight into the trash. "That one was hand-knit by my mom. This piece of crap doesn't even come close." Elmer frowned when he saw the scarf in the bin, then sat down beside me. "I know. But the dead won't come back, Moira. What's gone is gone.
