Rare, expensive, and deadly.”

They can be used to treat poisons. The plant itself is highlight poisonous, but if handled correctly and mixed with the right herbs, it becomes a powerful antidote for almost any type of poison.” Devon’s eyes widened in amazement. “So, it’s a poison that can cure poisons?” “Exactly,” Estella said, smiling at her son’s quick understanding. “But because it’s so dangerous, I need you to stay a bit further back while I gather it. “Brilliant. Love that for us.” The spider slammed down. The impact rolled through the cavern as a thick wave of green mist burst outward, flooding the space in seconds and coating everything it touched. Poison. Riley felt it immediately, his movement slowing as his body grew heavier under the effect. “Of course it’s poison,” Hayley said. “Wouldn’t be complete without that.” Before they could reset, the ground shifted again. Five more spiderlings emerged, larger, faster, stronger than the last. “Those are worse,” Sofia said.

It would have been fine if Frank knew his place and left, but he kept closing in. Jaud had no choice but to use his trump card ahead of schedule.
