Hanna demanded, with a mocking smile on her face as if she had won, but Jayden just raised his hands. “No one is kicking her out. She saved Jane, and I owe her a lot.” Jayden said firmly, and the woman stared at him, stunned. “What? You’re going to let her assault me?” Hanna asked, indignant. Everything seemed to calm down when Simon was paralyzed by the sight of Maryna’s blood-covered jacket. “Mary! Is that blood?” Simon asked, astonished. She looked at the jacket and then back at him, seeing that the older man’s eyes were filled with tears. He took her face in his hands, and she seemed to melt completely.

At one point, Spider nearly triggered an alarm when she froze, spotting a terrified young girl curled in a containment pod. “Hang tight,” Spider whispered, pulling out a small injector. “We’re getting you out.” Widowmaker smirked quietly. “Looks like your collection just got a new… project.” Spider grinned despite the tension. “I swear, if she starts calling me ‘Mom’ I’m blaming you.” They pressed onward, deeper into the belly of Valeria’s cloning nightmare, ready to unravel the next horrifying secret, Widowmaker carefully lifted the girl from the containment pod, her small body trembling but alive. “We’re getting you out of here, little one,” she murmured, voice gentle but firm.

I say and the spider starts laughing as his men look at me in shock. "I knew you were fast, but this..." He starts clapping. "What makes you think we need him? You can kill him for all we care. Your only two if you still count your boy toy against us. What are the odds of winning?" He taunts with a smirk as I glance behind at Jayden for a microsecond. He winks and I suddenly understand what he means. I look back at the Spider who takes out a gun. I let my knife slit across the man's neck just as I hear Jayden fighting off the man holding him. The men start running towards me as the Spider talks something hastily into his earpiece.

Josh POV The elves woke us at dawn and the frustration that had been flowing through me yesterday returned, along with a new feeling of dread and resignation. We thanked Chieftain Wallace and Elder Myles, and now Allie and Mulberry were crying and hugging. Mulberry had brought along Spidey, and I noticed that there were plenty of elves who were equally wary of Spidey as I was, which satisfied me. Despite what the girls thought, I wasn’t a sook for being terrified of a giant fucking spider–it was just common sense to be scared of him.

A young pack member, no older than twelve, was backed into a corner, her terrified sobs cutting through the air. “Hey!” I shouted, drawing the spider’s attention. Its glowing yellow eyes snapped to me, and it let out a guttural hiss. Jake didn’t hesitate, leaping forward and slashing at one of its legs. The blade bit deep, and the spider reared back, shrieking in pain. “Go!” I yelled to the girl, motioning toward the hallway. She didn’t need to be told twice, scrambling past us as fast as she could. The spider lunged, and I threw up a wall of flame to block its path. It screeched, its legs skittering against the ground as it tried to circle around.

Having enough of the excitement and satisfaction, the brunette involuntarily screams out, "JASON!" 'I almost died for you, you idiot' She mumbles to herself and takes a deep breath, closing her eyes. "Gacie?! WHAT THE FUCK?" She hears the male voice, her favorite male voice. But for now she kept her eyes closed, replaying what she just did for this man named Jason Drew. She literally climbed the thirteenth floor of the building like a Spider-man. The only difference was that he was bitten by a spider and she, by Jason. "ARE YOU ACTUALLY OUT OF YOUR MIND?"

Clarabelle asked, turning to her. “Well, I heard you were introduced to Mary's team by the moon goddess herself. She must have had a reason for doing so. Don't call yourself useless just because you can't access some Immortal ability, which I'm sure is really cool. The fact that you want to help shows just how much you care, and that, my friend, is what is most important,” Maria responded with a smile. The moment she said the last word, a large wolfman launched at her and trapped her neck between its jaws, biting down with heavy force. Clarabelle watched with shock on her face as the wolf man pushed her off the balcony and fell toward the ground, where many other wolfmen gathered.
