The Mafia's Nun

The Mafia's Nun

She presumed that he was part of the guests who had come to the auction, and she hated every one of them for supporting the human trafficking in this hellhole. Suddenly, one of his men cocked his gun and aimed it at her head again, considering her a threat due to her disrespectful tone towards their boss. "Put the fucking gun away, you fool!" Stefano said through gritted teeth, and the guard immediately withdrew his arm, clearly daunted. Stefano narrowed his eyes at her now as if trying to recall her face. "You do look a bit familiar? Those eyes...Are you the black widow?" He inquired. Sarah frowned. "Last time I checked, that damn name belonged to a fucking wild spider!" She hissed in disda

But just to be on a safer side and cooperative, he fed them a story which he believed they would not suspect too much. "See, I told you, we should have faith in our teammates." Frankie and others also joined them back in the same room after killing the giant spider, their clothes were drenched with blue and green blood. "Creed, my friend, you really made it back!" "How the fuck you survived the fall? How did you..." Brandon looked at Creed and others with surprise."Tch... why do I even bother? This guy has all the luck in the world." "Creed! thank you, you really saved our asses this time!" Layla sighed in relief after confirming Jia was breathing. "I seriously thought this job was done for.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

The Cost of Saving Him

The Cost of Saving Him

Joey’s radio crackled. “Any update on the perimeter?” a voice asked. “Clear for now,” another answered. Frankie stood and moved to the end of my bed. “Are you sure you’re ready for this?” “No,” I whispered. “But I’m done pretending I’m not in it.” Joey finally met my gaze, and for the first time since entering that warehouse, something in his eyes softened. “You saved a man who has been your enemy for months.” “He helped me in there. We owe him humanity, at least.”

Saving the World to Save Myself

Saving the World to Save Myself

No one would ever guess he was the same person who had just had an over five-hour surgery to remove eight bullets from his body. I could not help but clap for him, despite my fear. My duty to care for others held me back from letting him just walk away. "No. As a volunteer with Doctors Without Borders, I’m here to help everyone in Garvos who's hurt."

The years of being a superhero at Marvel

So when it was initially confirmed that Peter Parker was the future Spider-Man and not a passer-by with the same name, Li went out of his way to be nice to Peter. Because he has no ability to protect his family, and no ability to protect himself in a world of superpowers. If you have a relationship with Spider-Man now, then in the future when he and his family are in danger, Peter Parker should be the priority to save Li Jie and his family.

Duncan Hiddleston looked at the victim lying on the ground in pain. “Aren't you going to be given a kind heart?” Phedra Elizabeth pulled Duncan Hiddleston's face towards Phedra Elizabeth. “Who told you that I am a person with a noble, kind heart?” “I simply saw the actions of everyone around me. Most of the people who saved girls were men. I'm just defaulting to that.”

Her, To Home

they both screamed as it climbed over the mattress. The monster was probably becoming more powerful because it started crawling closer and Sara start seeing the end of her life's tunnel. Suddenly door burst open and there stood Drake with a gun in hand. They were saved! "Where is he? Where is he?" he demanded, pointing his gun around. "There! Kill it!" they both shouted at the same time while pointing towards the spider. Drake followed their finger and just blanked out for few seconds. His gun stilled in mid air while he stared at the spider. "You wussies are on your own on this one."

Choosing between Dragon and Werewolf

Choosing between Dragon and Werewolf

Her body shivered when he saw two men thrown away and immediately fell unconscious after receiving a continuous beating from Gavin, who has now changed half of his form into the same figure as the four men. Honestly, if asked whether she was afraid or not, she would say no. Unlike the four men, Gavin's appearance made him look like a superhero in the Marvel story, Spider-Man. One of her favourite Marvel characters who has a strong sense of justice. Gavin's way of fighting made her stunned to admire the figure of Gavin who seemed to be dancing for her. The man caught his panting breath as soon as he managed to defeat the four people he was fighting against who were already unconscious, change

Devil’s Saints: Taz

When he finally did come in, he did not look happy. “Anybody know about spiders?” “They have too many damned eyes, too many damned legs and are creepy as fuck.” Spider answered. There were some chuckles around the room. The man who could beat Danny Trejo at a Danny Trejo lookalike contest, was terrified of spiders. As a prospect, he had screamed the walls down when he spotted one. Naturally, he was named Spider. “Anybody else?” “I know someone.” Dino said as he looked over at Werewolf. The older man nodded slightly.

Worse yet would be a jump from a building as tall as the Stratosphere. The Vampire was almost back to the landing. He held onto one rung, swinging back and forth, reaching with the other hand, trying to secure his placement. Jamie was closing in. Like Spiderman, he leapt across the void, landing near the Vampire and grasping one of the spiraling pieces of metal near the leg where the Vampire hung. Through Jamie’s IAC, she saw the monster pull back his lips, barring his fangs, and hissing in a frantic bid to save his undead life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Spider-Man's heartwarming appeal lies in how ridiculously human he feels. Here's this kid—or young adult, depending on the iteration—who screws up constantly, cracks dumb jokes mid-battle, and still chooses to do the right thing even when it costs him everything. The 'Friendly Neighborhood' tag isn't just branding; it's his ethos. Peter Parker isn't saving galaxies like some heroes—he's helping little old ladies cross the street, tutoring classmates, and worrying about rent.

What guts me every time is how his stories emphasize responsibility over glory. That iconic 'with great power' line isn't about becoming a legend—it's about showing up. The way he grieves Uncle Ben but channels it into compassion? The fact he keeps fighting despite daily life kicking his butt? It's aspirational in the quietest, most relatable way possible. Even when the multiverse stuff gets wild, at core, he's just a person trying to balance being good with being okay.
