As soon as I open the video, I see footage of JP’s apartment building, shot on cell phones. “I found it, I found it,” I announce with a combination of excitement and dread. JP circles around behind me to watch. In the footage, gunfire blasts out the windows – and then two figures jump through the shattered glass. It’s Grant and Dominique. I watch, mouth gaping, as they go full-on Spider-man. I’m talking jumping from balcony to balcony, catching ledges by their fingertips, then leaping from building to building. It’s absolutely amazing. So that’s fuckin’ parkour.

“That’s—” “Spiders!” Bjorn shrieked. I looked down and felt sick. Thousands of tiny spiders had begun to pour out of the crack in the ground. They were small and quick and glistening, boiling up out of the dirt in a wave that spread wider with every second, swallowing the grass, climbing over each other in their hurry to reach us.

Tap… Tap… Slide… Tap… Like something clinging to the wall. We turned our flashlights. And what we saw never left me. A man. Skinny — skeletal. Wearing old hospital clothes. Eyes too large. Too white. Like someone who hadn’t seen light in years. He was stuck to the wall. Not standing. Upside down. Head down. Feet up. Like a spider. And he was staring at us. Laughing. A mad laughter that echoed in every corner.

He hissed in pleasure. With a growl, he pinned her wrists above her head with one hand, the other exploring her curves, teasing her inner thigh before slipping between her legs. She was already wet, slick and ready, and he circled her clit with deliberate slowness, watching her eyes flutter shut, lips parting in a gasp. "Please," she begged, her body writhing beneath him. He released her wrists, and she immediately pulled him down, guiding him to her entrance. Jones entered her inch by inch, savoring the tight heat that enveloped him, both of them pausing to adjust to the intensity.

But the dark comforted me, especially when I am upset. There are passageways through the walls. Some of them aren’t good for being tall. I remember a couple times when I first started living in the walls that I bumped my head. But now, I have learned to live downward. My legs and back are always bent. My hands constantly rest on the floor. Sometimes my hands help me move faster. I remind myself of a spider.

Was this creature really invincible? By this point, the spider had gotten fed up with Walter’s attacks! With that, it took aim at Walter’s chest before simultaneously launching its corpse flame, web, and pincers! Naturally, the now flustered Walter immediately tried to dodge the attack. Unfortunately, he ended up getting slammed by one of the beast’s pincers, resulting in the middle-aged man getting flung against a wall! The impact was so great that there was now a crater where Walter had collided!

Phil with no hesitation started to run, he was very familiar with the tapping sound he had heard since it was the sound of footsteps Vicky makes with her spider appendages. Running straight ahead Phil could not help but notice the walls slowly turning black, at first he thought that the hallways were changing once more, but how wrong can he be. The walls were filled with tiny spiders that started to cover the walls painting them black. The sight of countless spiderlings sent shivers towards Phil's spine, the spiderlings made a literal tidal wave of spiders as they tried to catch up with Phil. The floors in front of Phil also started to turn black as spiderlings spawned in front of him.

Clinging onto his body tightly, their hold prevented his retreat as she encroached upon where he stood. Firing again as he struggled against the sticky threads, his hand was again wrenched away. Allen’s mind racing to conjure up a method of escape from his situation as the spider-woman’s fangs started to protrude from the now jagged edges of her mouth. His frantic thoughts were suddenly distracted by a sharp glint that appeared behind from her.

Now is not the time. “Thanks,” I murmur. “No problem,” he replies, his brown eyes locking onto mine for a moment before he looks away. We continue, growing more confident with each obstacle that we overcome. But then, I spot them—spiders. Big, black, eight-legged monsters clinging to the walls like grotesque ornaments. I shudder, my skin crawling at the sight. “Ugh, spiders,” I mutter, feeling the color drain from my face. Karl looks at me, then back at the spiders. “You want to go back?”
