Spider, seated in the passenger seat, leaned forward slightly, his eyes narrowing as he studied the dark tree line on both sides of the road. “That wasn’t here yesterday,” Spider muttered. Sarah, seated in the back, looked up from her phone. “What’s wrong?” Scorpion didn’t answer right away. His gaze swept the surroundings, too quiet, too clean. No animals. No passing cars. The green Hobgoblin said, watching as Xolvion took a step back. "Whatever, let's finish them off!" The yellow Hobgoblin said, quickly charging towards Gwen as he made her his target. Gwen and Owen didn't stand a chance against these monsters, that Xolvion knew. However, Crystal was more than a match, he only hoped that she would be able to tap into her power and prove it. "ARGHH!" Gwen screamed as the yellow Hobgoblin charged towards her, lifting his sword as it got ready to strike her down.

Gwen's POV. ~~~~ My eyes fluttered open, but I was met only by darkness. A sense of alarm rose within me as I realized a cloth was secured over my face. I attempted to scream, but the fabric moved in unison with my lips. Panic settled in as my muffled cries were silenced by an unseen force. Straining to pick up any clues, the sound of approaching footsteps came into my ears. My chest tightened; I had been kidnapped. I mulled into my head, trying to connect with my wolf, but she wasn't responding, and it only meant one thing: I was tied with a silver chain.

Shadow asked, tightening her grip on her katana. “Is that what you ask a friend whom you meet after decades? Ah…I’m so hurt” Spider feigned a brittle voice, putting her hand on her heart. “I’m assigned with the safe delivery of the arms to the Davies. And of course, I miss you.” This crazy woman never fails to amuse me with her dramatic dialogue. Shadow rolled her eyes. “I’m so disappointed in you, darling,” Spider said, standing on the roof. “You took too long to come here.” Her voice was contoured with disappointment. Though she pouted, her mask covered it up. “I even had to send you a text message.”
