Legend Of The Third Spirit

Legend Of The Third Spirit

emerhyekane
Prince Zaeius was now holding his tears back. "Really?" Mon said between his breath. "I don't remember you..." 'Black Owl spirit has completed his redemption. The curse has been lifted. You can now proceed into reincarnation.' A smile formed on Mon's face when he heard the announcement from the above. And then, those were Mon's last words. His hair and beard turned white and his face became more wrinkled than before. He aged like a thousand year old. Prince Zaeius caught a glimpse of his eyes turned into blue before he closed them.

Spirits of the Night

Spirits of the Night

the leader asked bluntly. Alex remained silent, his eyes avoiding his leader’s. He knew what could happen if he mentioned the book Scarlett had. It was the very book they had been searching for for years, a relic that held secrets about the supernatural world—secrets none of them wanted to fall into the wrong hands. The revelation would condemn Scarlett and lead to the destruction of the book along with her; the punishment for possessing it was death. So he took a deep breath and simply shook his head. “It’s nothing,” he replied in a controlled voice, while the echo of the truth pounded inside him.

Ghost Sniper

Ghost Sniper

Oscar spoke into the radio which was followed by more silence. Kimberly looked into her binoculars and saw eight children playing a game of soccer on the open space in front of the huts. She dropped the binoculars and reached for a small carton from her backpack. She removed a stick of cigarette from the pack, lit it and took a long drag. There was static from the radio once again. “Alpha to base over.” Oscar repeated. Three seconds later, the gruff voice of the colonel was heard. “Alpha, this is base over. I read you loud and clear. What is the situation over there?”

Unveiling The Vampire's Omega (Bound By Blood Freed By Love)

Unveiling The Vampire's Omega (Bound By Blood Freed By Love)

“You will also assist Arion, the Spirit Guardian, in guiding the souls of fallen Weres across the veil to their eternal rest.” A shiver ran down my spine at the mention of Arion, a name spoken with reverence among our kind. The Spirit Guardian was known for his dedicated commitment to guiding souls, a role imbued with both honor and deep sorrow. “How long must I serve?” I asked, bracing myself for the answer I dreaded.

Dirty Deals With The Devil

Dirty Deals With The Devil

He spoke, dryly and I could picture his eye roll carefully. I did do that intentionally. And it worked well. "What'd you think of the Colonel?" I asked, wanting to change the topic from me intentionally giving him my number. The Colonel had been the one person that Stephanie trusted in that book, the one man she loved and he betrayed her. He delivered the final coupe de grace that ended her life. The Colonel had committed suicide too, a final Judas Iscariot move which I felt was cowardly but I did understand why he did it. He didn't deserve to live after such height of betrayal.

Games of Invictus

The two warriors continuing their stalwart stand, as hell unleashed upon them all around. Forest Edge, Renegade forward command. The day had gone from bad to worse for the traitor colonel. He had been given the honour of crushing the last bastion of loyalist defence for being the first defector, only to be foiled by an uninvited guest. He felt like weeping. Years of preparation and shady dealings slipping from his grasp, even as his former P*F regiments were blessed by Father Nurgle's first touch. Is this my trial, oh great plague farther?

(Colonel Xing) Colonel Xing is a once a slave, and just recently became a commoner, and now he is a high ranking officer in Aeternum military, which already raised his status to akin to a noble in any other nation. The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

Members of the pack hurried to follow my command, forming a line behind me as more corpses dragged themselves from their graves, drawn by some sinister call. The battlefield was one of chaos and despair, but I refused to succumb to it. My hands shook not from fear but from the surging power that crackled beneath my skin. There were many resurrected, but I was the Spirit Wolf, and my light would guide us through this storm. "Cole, Casper, Carlson, form a barrier with the others," I ordered, my voice steady and sure. "Keep them away from the non-fighters. They need time to evacuate."

I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.

Brother’s Best Friends Are My Mates

Brother’s Best Friends Are My Mates

Colby When the Spiritborn came back to life, we all tensed. I looked at it, feeling like it was about to call my name. And you know what? I wasn’t wrong. This was exactly what the damn thing did. The moment the Spiritborn called my name, the air shifted. “Colby McGrath. Step forward.” I blinked, staring up at them like maybe they’d gotten the name wrong. “Shit,” I muttered under my breath. Everyone turned to look at me.

Striding Spirits

Striding Spirits

Her sorrow had become a constant, gnawing ache, and her cries of despair now felt like a burden to those around her every moment even though she had done all the possibilities for this bliss. As the woman's moans grew louder, a man in his forties, holding a torch, approached the dugout, attempting to console her. Unbeknownst to the others, he was surely a spy for the enemy, tasked with identifying aims for their bombers' target. But before he could get close, the distraught woman, sensing his insincerity, slapped him with all her might, knocking him down unconscious. He couldn't bear the blow of a slap, so crumpled to the ground, just as Vicky's elder brother sprang into action, seizing the
