He glanced up towards the man before his wife. “The reason it’s not a Holy War is that we don’t have the spear that killed Jesus. Nor do we have the chalice and we’re not battling in the Holy City.” He felt Ava’s hand laced into one of his, allowing him to explain further. “A Spirit War is what we’re in the middle of, fighting for the souls of this world.” He glanced around the room. “But it seems that he wants to have a war here in Spokane.”

the spirit of the world thought, glaring at Blue Firebird with anger. "Because you did something foolish! From the start, we knew you were lying. A spirit of the world without a master, living for hundreds of millions of years, isn't something ordinary. Because, as far as I know, wherever they are, even in the upper realms of the world, they must have a master to strengthen their world. But you…" The blue Firebird raised its blue flames again. The intense heat grew more intense for the world spirit, who knew exactly what the blue Firebird was trying to say. A world spirit that should have a master but chose to live without one and create its own world, slowly declining—that was the most terr

I began hesitantly, " what exactly is a spirit animal for? I mean, why do we have them?" Merilla stopped and turned to face me with a warm smile. " A spirit animal is more than just a companion, Meara. When someone is born with elemental powers, the Moon Goddess grants them a spirit animal as a lifelong partner. This animal is there to guide them, to help them stay on the right path. As the person’s elemental powers grow and evolve, so does their spirit animal. It changes form, becoming a new animal that better represents the person’s personality and their connection to their element at that point in their life."

she said, ladling soup during our last visit, "go out into the world, find her, and claim her, as your fathers crossed mountains to claim me. Don’t wait for signs. Be the sign." "Women today aren’t like you, Mother," Alexei replied with sincerity. "No one matches your strength." "Then wait," she said, smiling faintly. "But don’t wait forever or I will have to help you all." We didn’t believe in any of it. Not truly. We were monsters in disguise—beasts in men’s flesh, living among mortals while hiding what we are. No god would grant us the miracle of love. Our nights were filled with nameless women. No promises. No tenderness.

“We’re going to pray again.” Alaric “….” He then sighed heavily. At this point, trying to untangle his little brother's madness was pointless. If it works, it works. “Fine,” he muttered. “To who this time?” “A Goddess,” Ron said brightly, his emerald eyes gleaming with mischief. “A very pretty one. She's the Spirit of Truth and Disenchantment. I believe she can help us.” Alaric’s brows furrowed. “And you know this how?”

“You will also assist Arion, the Spirit Guardian, in guiding the souls of fallen Weres across the veil to their eternal rest.” A shiver ran down my spine at the mention of Arion, a name spoken with reverence among our kind. The Spirit Guardian was known for his dedicated commitment to guiding souls, a role imbued with both honor and deep sorrow. “How long must I serve?” I asked, bracing myself for the answer I dreaded.

"O my Lord, you have graciously paved all my ways in my life. Now I again seek your guidance and solutions!" Vicky was crying, his heart aching. To get relief from this transition, one fateful night in the office, as the weight of his struggles became almost too much to bear, Vicky's forbearance gave way to despair, and he fell to his knees, his hands clasped together in great fervent prayer, pleading for guidance, for a lifeline to cling to, as he begged for the strength to survive the turmoil that had become his life. There was no way but God who would give him strength and a path to move.

"Y o u... w h a t?" *...* "Spirits have to follow certain rules or else she would be killed. The more they eat flesh, the more strong they will be. So, there is a department working to make rules for these spirits. If a mortal break those rules, than they are allowed to eat them. For example, for Omar, if a mortal sees hima MD lay on the earth pretending to be death, than he can not eat them. For lilly, if they look at her reflection than she is allowed to eat them."

"Allow me to ask you something else. Do you think spirits and souls and ghosts and ghouls have blood or any other type of fluid or matter in their bodies? Do they have weight?” She asked and I thought about it and I almost slapped myself. "Ah, so, since I could see my own blood it means that I am here in my physical body? But how?" I wondered. According to the little I had read when I was training to be the Alpha of the Crimson Shadow Pack, spirits do not have matter in this world. Remember, anything that has matter occupies space but spirits are space themselves. They are invisible because they don't belong here and the elements of this world do not affect or control them.

KELLY THOMPSON'S POV The spirit reaches out, her fingers brushing against the plush toy. A soft light envelops it, and I watch in amazement as the toy glows brighter and brighter before finally dissolving into sparkles that drift into the air. "Your sacrifice has been acknowledged," the spirit says, her voice echoing with power. "The allies you seek will be revealed when the time is right. Trust in the strength of your bond and the love you share."
