Xenia nodded sadly. “How did you fall?” Renai asked again. Xenia pointed at a stallion. “This stupid horse s…scared me,” Xenia scowled. She curtly stared at the stallion, picked a pebble and threw it in its direction. The luminous horse neighed and jumped when the pebble hit it. Renai’s eyes widened as it stepped back and got rash. The stallion bridle was untied, it neighed again and dashed toward them at full speed. Before anything could make sense to her, she pulled Xenia behind her and closed her eyes when it reached the door.

The vistas gorgeous. Dillon and Chase were also interested in the horses. "You see that pretty little chestnut mare in the corner?" Chase asked. Mitch and Dillon said yes. "She's Pretty Girl, Lauren's horse. Now, look at my horse, the stallion in the corner beside her. If Midnight could, he'd jump that fence, sniff around enough until he had her for himself. He doesn't want any other mare but her. He's our best stud, so we use him with other mares but not her. She doesn't have the bloodline requirements we need. Every day they are at that corner, talking back and forth, smelling each other's scent, rubbing their faces together."

Her mere presence simply irritates him. At the stable, they chose a good horses to ride on. Cristel ride with Alec for she doesn't know how to ride a horse. They chose to ride Alec's horse- Thunder Storm. It was a beautiful black stallion and it was the child of Black Tornado and Belle. She remember owning the horse the moment he knew that it was the decendant of Black Tornado. Guess he was that really fascinated to Black Tornado. She don't know why he named him Thunder Storm but the animal fits it's name for it was strong and storm like a thunder. He even hired a personal trainer for the stallion that even he was away from the hacienda, he can make sure he was well taken care of.

I look around and find that I am in the stall with the Arabian Stallion, I recognize him by the white blaze on his muzzle, and the long member hanging from his belly is a good indication too. Though I feel that every creature on this planet deserves a little satisfaction and gratification, this stallion would have to wait for another night, because the only thing I am interested in this evening would be the cycling mare a few stalls over. Though I cannot smell it, the pheromones that she is releasing in her display of heat certainly appear to have an effect on this well-endowed stud, hence his apparent need to just let everything hang out.

TEMPEST A horse’s whinny rang out, hooves pounding the planks of the empty stable. I stayed outside in the early-morning chill, watching the indomitable man ride out on the stallion. Straight-backed, a sexy half smile ghosting over cool lips, his hand tight on the reins like they belonged to him. The midnight stallion crow-hopped in front of me and Mr. Whitlock swung down. His boots planted firmly in the grass. “You… you can ride already…” My voice came out breathless.

“That is one nice attribute of yours.” I rolled my eyes and began walking past him in hopes of getting this over with. I heard him follow behind, once in the stables, Hans the stable boy, had two horses ready. Isabella a chestnut mare, and there was a black stallion, which must have been his.

KADE POV I watch the smoke curl from Brynn’s lips, disappearing into the night air. God, I’ve never wanted to be a cigarette so badly—just to feel those lips wrapped around me. Something in her whispered words makes me shift—a flicker of genuine concern breaking through my professional veneer. “One cage for another. Yeah.” I lean against the railing, letting a brief understanding pass between us. “The difference,” I murmur, “is that Vex’s cage has golden bars. Comfortable prison.”

Michael lowly admitted. “What do you mean she’s in the hospital? What the fuck happened? Tell me which hospital you are at.” “We’re at Methodist South.” “I’m on my way now. I should get there in a little under an hour with traffic. What happened, Michael?” “We were at the Caldwell Farm, and we were examining horses. After we were done, we decided to take a ride, and Onyx bucked her off.” “Wait a fucking minute. You let her ride Onyx of all horses? What the fuck were you thinking?! Seriously, how fucking irresponsible can you be?!” I shouted into the phone.

I bit my lips, wondering if my apologies would be accepted. She hung her head low and stayed silent for a while. When I thought she wasn't going to comment on my apology, she looked up and her ocean-blue eyes stared at mine searchingly. "Apologies accepted." She replied in a lighter voice. A wave of relief washed through me. "I promise not to take advantage of you again," I said solemnly. "As for the breeding arrangement, we can arrange for sperm insemination if you are not comfortable with us meeting intimately." I suggested, knowing she might not be comfortable meeting me intimately again after our two encounters.

After golf we headed to the stables on the other side of the compound to pick horses to ride. "Is the brown one taken, sir?" Joy asked. "Comry is mine but you can take him for a spin ma'am." Kylian said nicely. Joy blushed. "I'm not a ma'am." "I'm not a sir either. I'm Kylian." He said and stretched forth his hand.
