There was a tremor in the movement this time. A stumble he tried to hide. “He’s agitated. Off-balance,” she muttered, narrowing her eyes. “He’s in pain. And scared. Horses don’t spook like that unless something’s seriously bothering them.” Her tone — softer now, almost protective — was a complete contrast from the fire she’d just thrown at me.

He said with a puffed out chest and proud tone. Among the horses, there was Septa, a spirited mare with a coat that mirrored the vibrant colors of a sunrise. Her mane and tail flowed like liquid fire, weaving a tapestry of brilliance as she galloped through the meadows. By her side was Midnight, a stallion with a coat as dark as the night sky, adorned with stars that glimmered with a celestial glow. In a corner stall stood labroha, a gentle mare with a coat as pure as moonlight itself. She possessed an ethereal beauty that captivated all who gazed upon her, and her presence radiated a soothing calmness that whispered of forgotten secrets.

He lifted his head and neighed, nostrils flaring, hooves scraping the stone as she ran to him.

Dad says with a grin. Ashton groans. I can’t help but laugh. “It’s for the good of the company.” * * * Just before the race begins, we all go outside so the horses can parade around for the people. Thunder is with his new jockey, Brian, and he’s shown as his registered name of Ahead of the Storm, which is what the announcer will call him during the race. Next comes Valentine as Love Comes Quickly and his jockey, Christian. “Go Thunder!” Hayden calls. “Boo Valentine!”

He looks around an realizes he's on a long, deserted sandy beach. The black stallion remains still, and the smooth coat shifts in emerald green under the overcast sky. The long and lush mane shimmers and glows in shades of seaweed green. The stallion turns his head and looks at him, Laurin walks up and tries to pat him, but the horse raises his head so high that Laurin can't reach. "I just wanted to pat you," Laurin says softly, "and thank you for saving me from the wild waters." The horse neighs low and deep before replying: "I don't want to be patted like a pet. I am the Brook Horse." He says it with pride in his voice as he towers over him.

He would give her the entire world if she needed it. "Of course my love",he said in high spirits. He took her hand and brought her close to the majestic white stallion. "His name is Thunder" "Thunder",Layla whispered and brought her palms up for the stallion to sniff. Thunder shook his mane and nudged Layla softly with his head. "He likes you",Riven said happily. His eyes shone with happiness and his heart was filled with love for his sweet mate. "Will you be riding on him?",Layla asked.

Xenia nodded sadly. “How did you fall?” Renai asked again. Xenia pointed at a stallion. “This stupid horse s…scared me,” Xenia scowled. She curtly stared at the stallion, picked a pebble and threw it in its direction. The luminous horse neighed and jumped when the pebble hit it. Renai’s eyes widened as it stepped back and got rash. The stallion bridle was untied, it neighed again and dashed toward them at full speed. Before anything could make sense to her, she pulled Xenia behind her and closed her eyes when it reached the door.

My pretty, little mare, Radiance, is small compared to Kenneth’s giant, and aptly named horse, Goliath. Radiance is an Arabian stallion, beautiful and elegant. My father got her for me on my thirteenth birthday, saying that a princess needs a horse that matches her in grace and beauty, and Radiance is definitely that.
