Switch of Fate

Switch of Fate

We were twins, but because I was born a few minutes earlier, I became the older one. Our parents favored boys, so growing up, the two of us relied on each other. I truly saw myself as her older sister. I looked out for her in everything and always gave in to her. Even in my previous life, when Jackson had beaten me half to death, I still dragged my injured body out of the hospital and begged Mark for her when she wanted a divorce. Otherwise, with Mark’s temper, how could he have let her off with just a warning? I never expected that after everything I did to save Lily, she would end up resenting me and wanting me dead.

Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate

I was stuck here, my life was already predictable and i hoped he wouldn’t play it to his advantage. I’ll leave before he even notices, I thought, clutching my small handbag, it was the only thing i had left after the robbery. My fingers trembled around the strap as i remembered the incident. The image of the men grabbing my belongings, my throat tightening at the memory. I had survived worse. I didn’t need Alex Wilson, the elder brother of my supposed fiancee. I thought of his brother, Veronica and everybody back home, i sure knew- i wouldn,t be missed. My parents could care less about me at this point. I sighed deeply, i was already disowned of course, they'd careless. I slipped outside as

BETRAYED BY FATE

BETRAYED BY FATE

I quickly opened a bottle of wine neatly placed on the table and downed it in a go. That was when I broke. I dropped by the bed and sank to the floor, the rug, soft under my knees as I folded into myself. My whole body shook but I didn't even care that I was sobbing like a child. It poured out of me. Everything. The pain, the betrayal, the shame, the rage. All of it. The image of Tristan and Taylor together… in our bed having sex kept flashing in my head, and every time it did, I felt like I couldn’t breathe.

Twist of Fate

Twist of Fate

After listening to all the unfolding sides of his past, all she could think about is how easily a thin thread of misunderstanding can destroy a beautiful bond between two peoples if one of them is lacking the trust in the other one. And giving a thought about how hasty Rishi’s decisions were and how those decisions led him down the wrong path Anbu could tell that he wasn’t mostly himself. “ Instead of jumping into conclusion on your own ... .you should have asked her…..given her a chance to explain ... .what if “ she paused scanning his changing expression from guilt to regret “ what

it's a love story or sure, but the way she is explaining every emotion of the love between Rishi Anu and Anbu is what makes this book unique. while reading it I felt like I'm back to my clg days, so relatable and connecting. but again the curiosity to know the suspense is killing me. update soon.

Delivery of Fate

Delivery of Fate

Chamuel suddenly asked. “Impossible. The Sword was broken into three pieces and scattered throughout the Earth. It’s definitely not the Flaming Sword.” Azrael replied, making Chamuel breathe a sigh of relief. The Flaming Sword was the equivalent of the ultimate weapon. It could cut through the fabric of reality itself and slice through anything. The Flaming Sword was so powerful that it had to be broken and scattered throughout the reaches of Earth, never to be brought back together. Even the scabbard was separated from the Sword. If the Sword were repaired, it would still not be whole without its scabbard.

When Fate Faltered

When Fate Faltered

Then, expressionless, I told him, “People’s inherent flaws are in their bones. Sooner or later, they will surface. Asking this is meaningless.” Joel smiled bitterly, rubbed his face, and left. Not long after, Yorks Corporation filed for bankruptcy. On the way back home with his parents, Joel was involved in a car accident. Perhaps it was karmic retribution. A head injury left him deaf, and his left leg could no longer walk normally. He became partially disabled. His parents were fine, just minor concussions that would heal with time. Someone in the hospital said, “Joel lay on the bed, crying and laughing at the same time, muttering over and over that this was retribution to what he had done.

A Fate Reclaimed

I sneered, "You've lived two lives already, but you're still…just as stupid." Mona's face went completely white. When I transferred 20 dollars to her before, she probably wasn't fully sure that I had been reborn, too. But now, she was sure. Her reckoning had finally arrived this time. One month later, Ramsey Group completely collapsed. My father was restricted from high spending due to debt issues, and Mona was sentenced for multiple crimes. As for me? I stood on the top floor of the Whites Group, overlooking the entire city. Jonah wrapped his arms around me from behind and chuckled softly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Broken Fate seems to be one of those titles that really divides its audience, and I can see why. Some folks adore its gritty, unconventional storytelling, while others find it too disjointed or pretentious. Personally, I fell into the former camp—I loved how it didn’t spoon-feed you answers, forcing you to piece together the protagonist’s fractured psyche. The art style, with its jagged lines and moody palette, amplified the sense of unease, but I’ve heard complaints that it’s 'overly edgy' or hard to follow.

Then there’s the pacing. It’s deliberately slow, lingering on moments of quiet despair, which either pulls you deeper into its world or makes you check your watch. I think the mixed reviews stem from whether it clicks with you emotionally. If you’re looking for a tidy, action-packed narrative, it’ll frustrate you. But if you’re up for something raw and introspective, it’s unforgettable. Still, I get why it’s not universal—tastes vary wildly!
