Isa si Earl Miguel Avelino Concha sa hinahangaang bachelor sa bansa. Nasa kanya na ang lahat kaya naman maraming mga babae ang naghahangad na mapansin niya. Ngunit ang binata ay may mahal na at walang iba kundi si Caroline Velasco Abad, isang sikat na modelo. Ngunit lingid sa kanyang kaalaman ay niloloko lamang siya ni Caroline sapagkat mayroon talaga itong totoong minamahal. Natuklasan ito ng kanyang kapatid na si Claire kaya naman agad niya itong sinumbong sa kanyang kuya Earl. Hindi naman naniwala ang binata sa kanyang nakababatang kapatid sapagkat alam nito na hindi talagang gusto ni Claire si Caroline para sa kanya. Alam ni Claire na wala nang magagawa ang pagsasabi niya ng katotohanan sa kuya Earl niya dahil head over heels ito sa nobyang si Claire at saka magaling ding magpaikot ang huli. Kaya naman umisip na lang siya ng paraan kung paanong hindi matutuloy ang kasal ng kanyang kuya at ng nobya nito.

She was drowsy so she paid not much attention to it but then it continued, then she heard the voice again, “Lavender, you use lavender for your hair. How have I never sniffed your hair before?", the sniffing continued. The sound reverberated through the caves, whilst she felt the vibrations on his chest where she lay, but she did not need that to know whose voice it belonged to. It was deep but not hoarse, somehow it was powerful and soothing at the same time, it was the voice of a god, one that had spoken to her all of these months, one she had replayed over again in her head till it was ingrained in her memory. “Dragomir…”, she whispered in a teary voice, she proceeded to stand up but he held on to a part of her hair and was sniffing it. When he noticed her staring at him, he stopped and stared back at her as if she had just caught him trying to steal from the cookie jar. “Was that creepy?”, he asked.

Nilisan niya ang Pilipinas at hinayaang pagalingin ang sarili matapos ang matinding sakit. Sa pagbabalik niya, napag-alaman niyang kay tagal siyang hinintay ni Miguel. Umaasang mapapatawad at babalikan niya ito ngunit huli na ang lahat para sa kanilang dalawa simula nang pinapatay nito ang kanilang anak.

"Yes you have been through a lot but you had absolutely no right to do that, you should have spoken to someone, if you hated me so much that you couldn't talk to me then you should have at least told Hytham!". He said. "My life isn't worth living Raysham, you know it!". She cried. "I don't know! All I know is that in months to come I will sit alone and grieve knowing you did this to us, I will grieve knowing you caused the pain". He said.
