I had a gut feeling that my friends were doing something behind my back. I felt my phone vibrating inside my pocket; I pulled my phone out of my pocket and noticed a new message. I opened it and found the message from Alex. I forgot to mention we didn’t talk since Saturday and I was avoiding him too. Squidward: didn’t see you today at school, Yeah, I named him Squidward after the character in SpongeBob, and that’s because he acts exactly like him. I was busy today; I texted back. Three dots appeared as he was typing, then the dots disappeared. I frowned and glanced at the door, checking if a customer came. There was no one, so I focused on my phone again.

’ She pronounced the word and he pushed the titbit into her mouth, she chewed it and grimaced then spat it out wrinkling her nose in disgust, ‘What the fuck was that?’ She grabbed her glass of wine and gulped it down to take away the taste, ‘Have you never had squid before Trina?’ Toby asked nonchalantly taking a big chunk of the calamari and popping it into his mouth chewing enthusiastically but Trina paled, ‘S, s, squid? Those things with suckers on them?’ She stammered and Toby confirmed her nightmare, ‘Yeah, and that’s its ink he dipped it into, tastes divine don’t you think?’

It’s as thick as a full grown man. It takes me a moment to recognize that it’s not a snake, but rather a giant tentacle. The apprentice moved away and bent down to cup some water with his palms. The moment he created ripples in the quiet lake, a giant tentacled creature rose up to the surface. "Oh my God! A Kraken!!" The ones recently retrieved from the beach had heads and tentacles extending over 40 meters. Alexander surveyed the scene and mused, "Damn, it's like stumbling into a squid nest." Among them, a few were massive enough to emit energy fluctuations comparable to a Lord of War.
