She followed a series of statues along the wall, until she found herself led to a small, narrow staircase. Caitlin descended, twisting and turning, and finally, it lead her into a wide-open, low-ceiling, underground crypt. It was even more solemn down here, with only a few candles burning, and Caitlin could see that this was a mausoleum of some sort. All along the walls, as far as she could see, were sarcophagi. It looked like the perfect place for an ancient vampire coven. Caitlin let her senses take over, and felt herself being led. She walked down the long corridor, in the dank, musty air, passing one sarcophagus after another. Finally, she felt herself wanting to stop before one of them.

I sat on small wooden stool that was present inside, since Draco was not back yet , I decided to go though my bag, I pulled out all four books that was written by my grandmother on Dark Creatures, Spells, poison and lastly DRAGONS, each of this book included all detail information on spell, method, about ghost, warewolf, sorceress , way to tackle them and many more things, tree books included every detail on other supernatural things while one entire book was dedicated to Dragon. I refrained in fear that if I touched it there, it might whisk me away from this magical place. As I ventured deeper, I found myself in a sprawling hallway, surrounded by another astonishing array of books. The sheer scale of the full collection left me breathless. Row upon row of bookshelves stretched out before me, the books’ silver spines glinting in the soft light. The haunting book collection seemed to stretch on beyond my line of sight. From what little I was able to read as I walked by, their topics ranged from ancient Grimoires bound in black leather to modern volumes, bound by machines with glossy edges.

After the boys had left my room, I went through my bag and pulled out my favorite book, Night Flame, by Catherine Hart. I sat back in my chair by the window, prepared to spend the rest of the afternoon reading when a shiver ran down my spine. I jumped out of my seat and spun around to see a pair of yellow eyes glowing in the corner of the room. As those eyes drew closer to me, I realized that it was Simon, the fae that came to warn me the other day.

My fingers brushed over the spines of old, forgotten books as I moved past rows of tall shelves, eyes scanning for anything on hybrid white wolves. Finally, I spotted it—a book about hybrids, tucked behind a cracked wooden panel marked Forbidden. I reached for it. I barely had time to register the strange chill in the air when I felt it. A presence. My body froze, every instinct snapping into high alert. I took a cautious step deeper between the shelves. “Who's there?” I called. No answer. Suddenly—an arm grabbed my waist and yanked me back. “Wha—!” I barely got a sound out before a hand clamped over my mouth.

I kept walking toward the back wall then I saw something strange. A soft golden glow appeared between two massive bookshelves I walked past a thousand times. It was a hidden section. The books here looked ancient, their leather spines shimmering faintly. Titles like The Touch of Shadows, Bound by Moonlight, and Whispers After Dark seemed to pulse with their own light. My fingers trembled as I reached out and pulled one book from the shelf. It felt warm, almost alive. I was so curious to see so I opened it slowly.

But would they help me protect Orion and seek revenge? I roamed around the library, picking out books from several different sections. A hefty stack was piled in one arm by the time I’d finished—for now—and I narrowed my selection down to three. No pleasure reading this time, I was on a mission. One was a text on abnormal supernatural biology. Another covered the mythology of chimeras, strange creatures featuring numerous animal and human parts. The last was a history of dark witches. After stashing the remaining books on a side table, I climbed back up to the third floor and eased into the hall. The corridor was empty and quiet except for… Was that music?
