Nigel gasped, and quickly the others turned to look at what had gotten him so baffled. There in the magical waves were two figures splashing around and staring at the crew with intense white eyes. "Mermaids," Lazarus whispered. Soon the rough sea became calm and one of the creatures shot up from the water and perched on the stones where the group stood. She had long lavender hair with pink and yellow seashells at the sides. Her ears were like snail shells and her nose was perfectly straight. She lifted her green tail with specks of purple scales and slammed it hard against the rocks, making some of it break off into the sea.

She hunted and drained countless lesser merfolk for pearl curse powder, merely to gather enough ritual materials.” “Indeed. Once the puppet is complete, it will crush all rebels within the vampire clan, and drain this mermaid’s last breath entirely. Lowly foreign creatures are born to be offerings for our master’s sorcery.”

Jax asked when he finally entered the room. We both took turns giving Jax the rundown of our meeting. He like me was just as surprised at the variety of supernatural species that lived within Dublin. Half of them I never even knew were real, like the Merrow.
