He guided me to the clinic, knocked on the door, and once they confirmed my identity, I was invited in. "Good afternoon, Mrs. Madison Rose Moretti. It’s a pleasure to meet you," Doctor Stella Hayes greeted me, gesturing for me to sit down. I smiled back, still unsure about why I was here, especially with Marco being the one to set it all up. "I’m sorry, Doctor, but I don’t really know why I’m here." "No worries. I just need to run a few tests to make sure you’re okay and figure out which contraceptive pills would work best for you," she explained.

I exchanged a look with Hercules. “Can I speak to you in private? the doctor said. “Me?” I asked. She laughed. “Of course you.” Hercules dropped a kiss on my forehead. “I will be outside, baby.” I smiled at him. When the doctor was shut down, I immediately turned to the doctor. “Tell me, doctor, what do you see?” I asked. She chuckled. “Come on, Mia, it’s not something to be afraid of.” “Just tell me, doctor, I am dying of anxiety,” I asked. She took a deep breath and began going through my chart.

“I don’t know, Starr, he didn’t say. He only mentioned he’d say it when you wake up.” “Well, tell him to come In” I quickly said, cause at that point I was so scared to the teeth.” The doctor walked in, with an expression plastered on his face, and trust me, that expression made me so scared that I began to panic. The look on his face made me know that there was something wrong, even if he tried covering it up with a smile.“Okay, ladies, let’s take a look at your test results, shall we?” The expression of the doctor turned sympathetic., as he began. “You’ve hyperthyroidism.”

The doctor said in a commanding tone. "Please don't tell him doctor, I am begging you." I struggled to sit upright but couldn't. My head was killing me. "Are you undergoing any stress?Is there anything wrong?" The doctor asked and I just shook my head in disapproval.How could I tell her Stefan and I were divorcing in a week's time and it was draining the life out of me.I know I shouldn't be selfish and consider the being growing inside me but I can't live with the thought of losing the one I love.

A man nervously bouncing his leg. None of them are waiting to find out if they've just uncovered a massive family conspiracy. Lucky them. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, the doctor appears. "Miss Steele? The results are ready." My heart starts pounding so hard I can hear it in my ears. I stand up too quickly and nearly stumble. "Okay. Yes. I'm ready." He leads me to a private consultation room and hands me an envelope. I stare at it. This envelope contains either confirmation of my worst suspicions or proof that I'm a paranoid lunatic who stole DNA samples and committed medical fraud for absolutely no reason.

What do I tell the doctor when he asks what was wrong with me? Okay. Doc, I don't know but I feel this tingling sensation whenever he touches me. I get wet for him every time.
