We must have been so lost in our game of chase that we didn’t notice it opening and the audience we now had. The man looked sickly, but still stood menacingly tall with an unsettling aura, his thick brows pulled down with a scowl on his face. Mick’s body went tense and rigid, his anger flaring and reaching me through the bond. I didn’t know who this man was, but Mick clearly did and he wasn’t thrilled to see him. I tried to push my way in front of him but Mick flexed his hands on my waist and held me in place.

A tall man, dressed in a black shirt with sleeves rolled up to his forearms, showing off his strong arms with nerves popping out. His head was high, eyes focused on the centre of the room as he glided in confidently. His stance screamed power while his eyes begged carnage. The men straightened as he walked past them, their eyes showed fear and respect for him. I was rooted in my spot as I stared at him in panic and disbelief.

Legs were crossed and head angling on the other side, sitting in a kingly posture. The man growled like a feral beast panther slowly approaching her place with a heavy step, oozing with Death's aura and vibes! Gasped, Sumire was standing frozen on her feet when she meet his cold and dangerous look. Hair is slick back and sexily disheveled. His naked upper body appeared to be so massive and masculine. She was terrified and mesmerize by his presence at the same time. She was breathless and in a daze! "You have the audacity to invade my private den, missy. Do you know what that means?"

He took a step toward me. Before I could move, before I could scream at him, Jace appeared. He didn't say a word. He didn't need to. He simply stood between me and the man, his entire posture radiating a cold, terrifying authority. His shoulders were set, his jaw was clenched, and his gaze was locked onto the man with an expression that was beyond fury. It was a silent threat.

“Get your filthy hands off her before you have to pick your fake gold teeth up off the floor!” The voice was like a whip-crack; cold, low, and vibrating with a deadly authority. I looked to the side and saw a figure standing by the end of the bar. He was wearing a heavy black hoodie and matching sweatpants, the hood pulled low over his brow so his face was nothing but a shadow. I couldn't tell who it was, but the presence he carried was terrifying.

I try to summon the courage to speak, to protest, but the words stick in my throat, choked off by the intensity of his stare. There's a primal edge to his presence, a raw power that sends a shiver down my spine—a shiver I don't welcome at the moment. Alpha Alexander’s expression is unreadable, his features carved from stone as he stands before me, a silent sentinel of authority. The tension crackles in the air between us, thick and palpable, as if we're locked in a battle of wills. I know I've crossed a line, pushed him too far, and now I must face the consequences. But as much as I try to steel myself for what's to come, a flicker of fear at the unknown persists.

His dark hair fell around his face, framing his angular features, which seemed to radiate an aura of warning. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice low and even, but with a hint of menace. His broad shoulders seemed to tense, his muscles coiled and ready to spring into action. The air around him seemed to vibrate with tension, as if he was struggling to contain some inner turmoil.

It was then that Marek stepped forward. Marek was a towering figure of muscle and menace, a wolf of immense strength and ruthless skill. His presence alone was enough to draw nervous glances from every corner of the room. His black hair was tied back, his sharp features accentuated by the harsh glow of the torches. Scars lined his arms and neck, trophies of battles past, and his golden eyes gleamed with feral confidence.

Anne only replied to Jack's words with a glimpse of a smile. Out of Anne's expectation, when they arrived, it turned out that they were not alone. There were about twenty people there. Instead of feeling happy and safe, Anne felt scared and wanted to run away. The reason was because those people wore black robes with pointed hoods that almost covered half of their faces. From their posture, Anne could guess that they were men and women. Lighting torches were planted all around them. And the center of Anne's attention was a giant stone in the shape of an owl.

And standing there was…Damon. His tall figure filled the doorway, his presence heavy and commanding. But it was his eyes that rooted me in place, dark, stormy, and menacing, promising ruin.
