Maverick nodded solemnly, lifting his hands and blowing softly. The butterfly took flight, a speck of gold against the dark green of the pines. He let out a shriek of delight, watching it spiral upward.
"I'll go find more!" he shouted, turning and sprinting back toward the meadow.
