Cherie's POV Early the next morning, I was woken up by the sounds of Aster's laughter. "Mommy, look! Daddy got this gift for me!" Aster then happily showed me his new airplane model with a huge smile on his face. Yet, I wasn't able to smile back at him. I had seen one of Stacy's maids holding that exact gift last night. I didn't say anything and just called Mitchell out to the balcony. "That was one of Stacy's presents, wasn't it?"

"Ah ~" Ada Wood suddenly yelled, jumped out of the door of Viola Turner, held her chest in both hands, and looked behind her in horror, "you, you, who are you?" A middle-aged old woman suddenly hugs her laughing silly. "Star, you are my baby." The middle-aged old woman bared her teeth and walked slowly to Ada Wood. "Star, let mother hold it. Mother miss you so much. Can mother take you to dad?" "Don't, stop." Ada Wood put one hand on her chest, and the other hand stretched out to the old woman.

The old woman watched as they drove out making her wonder why her daughter decided to become this beautiful people's enemy. "Baby... I told you I could go to the restaurant myself, don't you have work at the office like busy?" Arrya asked for Damien to smile as he drove. “I’m never busy for you baby," Damien said as they drove in the beautiful morning of New York City. "Mommy Alex removed my butterfly" Alexia cried for Arrya to turn. "Alex...why did you do that?" Arya turns to look at her kids. "Mommy I didn't, it fell," Alex said giving Arrya the butterfly pin that fell from his sister's hair.

Stella The sun is nice and bright today, offering a blanket of warmth as my mother and I sit outside, watching the butterflies and birds fly by while we work on our respective jobs. My laptop sits in front of me and I slowly type away, working on a new firewall for Sebastian's job while my mother handles paperwork and finances for my father's mafia. There are glasses that sit beside us filled with light cocktails.

Her old voice was crackly but still soothing. “I don’t understand, she hasn’t blessed us with a daughter for over two hundred years. What is she waiting for?” I complained. I know I shouldn’t, it's not my place to question the will of the All Mother. Maybe there won’t be another, maybe none of us are worthy anymore. But if I'm wrong, what could she be waiting for?

Star, oblivious to our conversation, was playing with the hem of my shirt, humming softly to himself. I reached down and brushed a hand over his hair. “You hear that, Star? Grandma wants to go make more money for you.” He looked up at me, his big dark eyes blinking slowly. “Will she bring me steak?” A laugh escaped me despite the heaviness in my chest. “Yes, she’ll bring you steak.” His little mouth curved into a grin, satisfied with that answer. After a moment, my mom got up from her seat and began tidying up the table. I stayed where I was, watching Star as he leaned against me, his small body warm against mine.
