The stasis pods were humming softly, their red lights turned to green. "Did we do it?" Rowan asked. His voice was stronger now. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Are we... are we still alive?" "For now," I said. I looked toward the warehouse doors. They were huge, reinforced steel plates designed to keep out the eternal winter of the Earth. Slowly, with a sound like a mountain moving, the doors began to slide open. A cloud of snow and ice swirled into the room, obscuring everything. But through the white mist, a figure appeared.

After the hot water hit her skin, she really didn’t want to move. She wanted to stay under the water for some time. She knew that it was weird for her, though. She had also done some research on the seed children, and most of them avoided water. It seemed that though there was probably some sort of water source where ever they had originally come from. Traveling across the universe basically as dust riding on a comet or meteorite, the seeds lost the ability to enjoy it.
