The corporate situation had kept them busy all day. But the moment they stepped inside, the tension melted away. Aiden ran toward them immediately. “You’re late!” Aria followed, holding a drawing. “Look what we made!” May knelt down. The drawing showed a stick-figure family standing under a big sun. Four figures held hands. “This is beautiful,” May said warmly. Damien crouched beside her. “Who’s this tall one?” he asked. “That’s you,” Aiden said proudly. “And this is Mommy,” Aria added.

With a sigh, I shook my head at her silliness. She snagged the note again, quickly doodling a picture of two people, obviously a boy and a girl. I laughed to myself as she made the boy's neck and shoulders look like the Incredible Hulk. She drew crowns on each figure's head and wrote "Prom King and Queen?" I rolled my eyes. Then she wrote "Isaac + Tru" under the picture and slipped it back to me with a giggle. She was killing me!

At the star sticker. "The staying," he said. "Yes," I said. From down the hall. Mara. The first to wake after us. She appeared in the doorway. Eleven years old. Drawing book in hand. Even though the boy had said it several times since the morning. Damian glanced over. “Yes?” Silas held up the drawing. “Does this look like a spaceship?” Damian stepped closer to examine it. It was mostly blue and red lines with several crooked circles attached. He nodded thoughtfully. “It looks like it could travel very far.” Silas grinned proudly. “I added extra engines.” “Smart design.” Silas pointed to a small stick figure drawn beside the ship. “That’s me.” Damian studied it. “And who’s flying the ship?”

Nicole. “Heidi…” my heart softened as I dropped to my knees beside her. “I’m gonna put them back, I promise. I just wanted mum to stay here for a while.” One of her drawings rested ont he table too, almost covered by mum’s scarf. I pulled it from under there. It wasn’t the best picture but I could tell it was two older women with a child in between them. One of the women’s hair was done with a yellow pencil while the other was black, the child had tiny dots around her head to imitate hair, but what they all had in common was the yellow circles hovering over their heads and the triangle wings.

"Stella." "Kyaa." I shrieked and met Kane's dumbfounded eyes. "Why are you so surprised?" He then glanced at my sketchbook. "Is that me?" I looked down. "!" I unconsciously draw him again. It was Kane in his hoodie. His signature look. I immediately closed my sketchbook. "H-how could that be you? I-its a character from the comic book!" Kane smirked arrogantly. "But the hood is familiar. The eyebrow is similar to mine too. If you show it to others at home, they would say it looked a lot like me."

He whines and I laugh at him. I raffles his hair and hold his face in my palms. “So… how is handsome Denzel doing today?” “I’m fine! Here….” He reaches for a drawing book next to him on the bed and shows me a page where drew…. Ah! I don’t even know what he drew! But I guess it’s some cartoons. “… Look, Anna, I drew hulk and captain America!” “Oh… “ I take a closer look and frown, why doesn’t they look like the hulk and captain America I know?

She leans close to Vanessa and whispers what is written on the slip. As soon as the timer begins to tick, Vanessa starts drawing on the white board while Xander tries to guess it. “That’s…a parrot?” Xander stares at the contorted drawing of something that looks like a frog in my perspective. “It looks more like a kangaroo to me.” My head turns to Romeo. My jaw is agape while I stare at him. “Is…is that smoke?” Xander begins to wonder, raising his brow curiously at the random waves that Vanessa is drawing.

I hear the Star Wars theme song start and I notice Merigold grab her phone out of her bag. I hear her say she is pulling the caller on speaker and takes a piece of paper and pencil from the prospect behind the bar. She puts the phone on the bar and moves her hair to the side. When she does it exposes her bare shoulder and that's when I see a tattoo on her shoulder blade. I'm not paying attention to who she's talking to but she is leaning over the bar doing something that has the prospect and Tank’s attention. I want to get a closer look at the ink and see what has everyone's attention. I hear Tank " Princess. That is good." as I reach her back. I look over and see what they are looking at. I

While David was distracted with the other minions, Dorime began to splash ink in the wall using the onyx. He shaped it using his little hands and used his flying golem for the unreachable places. He painted a humanoid striking a T-pose in the center of the wall, with lines near its body, as if they represented that it was glowing. Near, he made the crude shapes of various of his new and older brothers: Skeletor was a small horned humanoid, lumps represented the rats and squirrels, some tunneling worms, vultures, beetles, and even some ants.
