Starting To Read Books Novels & Stories

Ash has now stopped trying to escape and is also interested to see if his rogue uncle actually knows how to read. I push the kids' book closer to him, gaining yet another pissed look. But I miss Ivy so much, his angry cobalt eyes only make me smile. I'm also starting to feel like shit for this, but he must know how to read... right? He has a phone, I've seen him do stuff in it. But I've also seen him struggle a bit. "Start with the title," I push, pointing at it. He looks at the book. "The frog and toad are friends," he starts, then opens the book and I see him swallow uncomfortably when he gets to the first chapter, "These are way too many words for a kids' book."

Walking home with that book felt like stealing light from the sky. In my room, I opened it slowly. The pages smelled like dust and ink. I didn’t understand most of the first chapter. But I didn’t close it. Every night after work, I read one page. Then another. Then another. At the restaurant, Jenna started calling me “Book Mouse.” Leo noticed too. “You falling asleep on your feet,” he grunted one night. “What’re you reading?” “Math,” I said. He blinked. Then shook his head. “Nuts.”

Would it be a bad idea if I just… looked around a little bit? Surely he wouldn't react badly? Looking at the innumerable books on the bookshelves and feeling a rising sense of curiosity, I took several steps forward and leaned in to read the titles on the spines. My hands were firmly clasped at my back, because Goddess knew I didn't want to do anything to damage these books.

Aleksandr stopped a few shelves over from the window seat and gestured to the books in one particular section. “These are good beginner books that will get you started. As you learn you can decide what things you’d like to study more in depth, and I’ll help you find the books you need.” He smiled at me as he handed me a couple books. I could tell that he was pleased by my desire to learn more about werewolves.

A week after finishing My Little Pony I started reading more. I read the Twilight books again. Not listening to me actually read them, it's better that way. Then my body is focused on what's happening in the book rather than doing other random things. Like what? I'm not sure. The books are just like I remember them, better than the movies.

She replied, shrugging and moved her attention to her book. “King? Palace? Do you even know what you are talking?” I asked her shaking my head and walked near to the cupboard for the first aid box. “It is nothing! I started reading some pregnancy books and saw that after a few months, I have to read some good children’s stories for the baby when it is in the womb itself. I was never a fan of them, so I am trying to read them now to get used to them.” She explained and sighed at the end.

That made her laugh happily and she sure did promise, Miss Minchin, that she is looking forward to that. Sophia can still clearly remember how she got into reading books and by books, she means romance novels. It is not really the best genre to give and let a thirteen-year-old gal read, but she knows that it was her starting point for getting to love reading. She did not lose interest in reading them until today and even their university librarian already knows her well for it. Every time that the kind librarian will discover new books or had new book donations, she was guaranteed to be the first one to know and borrow them.

I found a comfortable spot in a cozy nook, nestled among the towering shelves, and began to lose myself in the words.
