PUCKED BY MY STEPBROTHER: A FORBIDDEN HOCKEY ROMANCE

PUCKED BY MY STEPBROTHER: A FORBIDDEN HOCKEY ROMANCE

and left. Rhys hadn’t moved from the pillar. Fifty feet of empty basement between us. He was looking at the book in my hands. Looking at me. Probably processing the reality that the wreckage was public now. That strangers would read about his cruelty and his crash and his father’s secret and the hospital chair and the kitchen floor. But he wasn’t hiding from it. He was standing in the light of it. I walked toward him. Boots on concrete. The book against my ribs. His eyes on my face the entire way.

The Fated Mate to The Powerful Lycan King

The Fated Mate to The Powerful Lycan King

Did he sense something. Did he notice that I wasn't really reading the book? I thought, looking at the book in my hands (My Life Saver by Lilian Finn). What a weird coincidental name for a book. Twenty minutes past eleven p.m. When did time fly so fast? I survived today, tomorrow is going to be another day. "Let's get ready for it." I said, resting my head on my pillow and hugging the book, My Life Saver. ***Day eleven***

Deadly Enimity : A love forged in Hate

Deadly Enimity : A love forged in Hate

ELVIS POV My eyes widened. Blood rushed in my ears. “Is that fucking real?” “Bad words, kiddo,” he chortled, clearly relishing how it got under my skin. I rolled my eyes and caught a smile—or not? I snatched the book, flipping through pages, confirming the impossible. Bee Brown’s updates had been agonizingly slow. Series one had taken forever to conclude, and I knew the wait for the sequel would feel endless. Yet here it was.

I’m honestly so proud of the author for creating this amazing story! The characters feel real, the emotions are deep, and the plot keeps pulling you in. If you’re into BL that’s both heartfelt and exciting, you definitely need to check this out. Can’t wait for the next chapter!”

Wonderful book, great character dynamic and storyline! Every emotion was tapped into! Enjoyed the Jake POV chapters at the end. On a serious not, Emma’s deep seeded issue are more common than we realize, and the issues associated with were address in way that encouraged & informed the reader!🤩💕

Amazing book! It was long but well worth it. I even wish there was more. I loved the bonus chapters but would also love an epilogue. There was a lot of character growth and maturity for both ML and FL. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Would love to see Daniel spin off.

Supernova book 1

Supernova book 1

Suddenly, he felt a strange vibration throughout his body and looked up to see unfamiliar words written on the cave wall. With a burst of light, the words disappeared, and he saw the light shoot up to the moon, surrounded by a shimmering dance of stars. He followed the light until he found himself in the maternity ward of Corer Hospital. The light stopped at Ward 119, and he heard the cry of a newborn baby.

The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

I nodded slowly, realizing what his answer truly meant: the Living Book wasn't here. Whether he didn’t trust me, or the danger was too great to carry it along, I didn’t know. But I stopped searching. Instead, I buried myself in the small cube Zevarion had gifted me, fingers working it restlessly as I tried to anchor my thoughts in the memory of his warmth, his arms, his voice. Each night grew colder. Each morning, darker. And then, on the eleventh day, just as the book had warned, we reached it. The horses slowed, snorting uneasily. Even the wind stilled, as though the very earth held its breath.

OBSESSED (Book One)

OBSESSED (Book One)

Office Gray says, bowing slightly alongside his partner before they both walk back to their car. I stare once again at the once upon a time vibrant environment that is now clouded with smoke and darkness. A tired sigh escapes my lips when I realise that this may actually just be the beginning. I know it's weird but I just have this feeling that the worst is yet to come and the truth is, the thought of it alone scared me like nothing else.

IN TWENTY ONE DAYS

The man didn't even raise his head to look at Zara as she ramble, he is facing his son's retreating back in shock. He gave Mika'il's back an incredulous look, his mouth slackened to the ground. His posture suddenly stiffened from the lagged one he featured, muscles tensing. There is this heavy feeling in his stomach, tightening it to the point of pain. Something terrible is going to happen, and without a doubt destroy so many lives.

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

the Patrol leader concluded, ending the call. With the weight of the news sinking in, Stephen closed his eyes, grappling with a surge of anger and disbelief. The tranquility of his cabin was replaced by an unsettling tension, as the impending interrogation loomed over him, shattering the peace of the Saturday that had started so innocently. ********** [Hello lovely readers! Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s talk about the quiet dread in 'Station Eleven' that sticks with you. A lot of reviews focus on how it’s not really a standard apocalypse novel—it’s about what people cling to when everything else is gone. The Traveling Symphony’s motto, 'Survival is insufficient,' gets quoted endlessly, and for good reason. It frames the whole story. People aren’t just fighting zombies; they’re trying to preserve art, memory, and messy human connections.

What surprised me was the depth of discussion around the non-linear timeline. Some readers found the jumps between the pre-pandemic world and the post-pandemic 'Year Twenty' jarring at first, but most conclude it’s essential. The contrast between Arthur Leander’s shallow Hollywood life and Kirsten’s nomadic existence, both linked by that comic book, 'Dr. Eleven,' creates this profound sadness about lost modernity. I saw one reviewer call it 'a eulogy for WiFi,' which is funny but painfully accurate.

Ultimately, the consensus seems to be that the book’s power lies in its small, observed moments—like the description of an empty airport becoming a museum of a dead world—rather than in grand action. It leaves you contemplating what you’d miss, what you’d try to save.
