Novel & Cerita Stephanie Plum Series

She smiled one last time. “She won’t get far.” The door slammed shut. Stephanie sat in silence. But in her little hands… something small and sharp gleamed under the bear’s fur. A pin. Left behind by mistake. She wasn’t just a helpless little girl. She was her mother’s daughter. And she was going to fight.

The cold air slaps my skin, sending chills down my spine. “Eyes on me,” he says. I lift my gaze, though it feels like lifting a mountain. His stare pins me where I stand. His eyes trail down from my face, resting on my black lacy bra. His lips curved into what resembles a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. “Are you wearing the panties too? Let me see.” My stomach flips, finally letting the tiny voice remind me that I'm getting those commands from my stepbrother. Letting the tiny voice remind me that this is wrong.

Not yet, at least. She cat-walked over to the plush armchair by the window, where her journal lay open. Stephanie wasn’t much of a writer, but lately, it helped organize her thoughts—or, as she preferred to think of them, her plans for world domination. She picked up the pen, tapping it thoughtfully against her chin. “What’s the play, Steph?” she asked herself aloud. “Do we use this little nugget,” she patted her stomach again, “to climb the ladder? Secure some power? Or do we just rip Laura’s little fairytale to shreds?”

She knew when she looked up, he mustn’t see any fear in her eyes. "I assume the plan is already in action?" "Yes," she replied rubbing her sore neck, "he will never know" Alec nodded at the good news. The sooner the better. His eyes trailed toward a coffee table a few feet away, walking toward it, “is this your latest victim?" He grunted lifting one of the many photos that were spread over the table. They had all been burnt in a certain spot. "Yes,” Stephania replied sighing, "the girl is a nuisance."

“Well, eventually Becky’s turn will be over.” I laughed quietly as I tangled our fingers together, squeezing his before letting them go. “So it will be.” A few minutes later, Stephanie called the class to order as she scooped up the puppy. “Alright, girls and boys, it’s time to move on. Jeffrey, do you have your show and tell?” “Yes.”

She asked as she crossed her legs together. "Yes ma'am" "Good, were you able to get what Davis would be doing this night?" She asked again. "Nothing intresting ma'am, he'll be going to the bar this night" "Well that's interesting, I have a tiny work for you" Stephanie smiled. After talking with the person on the phone, Stephanie finally put down her phone with a satisfied smile on her lips. Surely what she was planning now will definitely bring a lot of shame to Davis and she can't just wait. On the norms, Stephanie hates her step son so much because she feels that he has everything her son was supposed to have.

"That's impossible! That's bullshit! I'm normal!" The guests erupted. "So she couldn't have been pregnant with his child at all!" "That kid isn't his?!" "Oh my god. He's cheating on her… but his mistress is cheating on him…" [Why are we getting an explosion of information and plot twists right now? This is even wilder than having sex inside a coffin!] [Look at Stephanie's face! She didn't know he was supposed to be infertile!] Stephanie shrieked, "You bitch! You'll say anything to slander him! Show us the report right now! Talk is cheap. Making things up is cheap!"

Steph’s office is towards the end of the east hallway with a gold metal plaque on the side of the door that reads 321 Stephanie Taylor. A few other doors are reading other people's names too. I knock on the door and hear her say come in. When I walk in she’s sitting behind a mahogany desk with a comfortable-looking white chair behind it. The walls are a light slate blue and with beautiful landscape photos of sceneries from other countries. On her desk sits a laptop, phone, notebooks, pens, and small green plants, it’s so cute in here. She stands up and hugs me. “Give me one sec Mills, I’ll get you a chair,” Steph says leaving me for a minute and coming back with a folded white plastic chair.

Plum looked viciously at Cordy and said, "Cordy, the tables will turn and one day you'll see how powerful I can be!" "Your words are better said to yourself, given your plight right now." Plum left with a horrified look on her face. The moment she walked to the lobby of the building, she saw reporters waiting there. Plum was taken aback. She had not called any reporters. Sue sneered inwardly as she was the one who had done it. Plum could not bring herself to apologize to Cordy in front of the media, as that would be akin to indirectly slapping herself, but that was exactly what Sue wanted to force Plum to do.

She fought and kicked one guard hard enough that he went down on one knee, scratched another across the face, yelled my name like a curse, but there were four of them and eventually it didn't matter how furious she was. I watched them take her down the corridor and felt the plan reassemble in my head. Ivy's uncle in one cell. Stephanie in another. Two reasons Ivy would walk back into this territory without Liam's backup. Two reasons she would negotiate on my terms and not his. It was workable. It was good. It was exactly what I needed until the explosion hit.
