“…I won’t.” There was a pause. Holly leaned slightly closer, through the small gap, she saw them standing close. Ray gave a nod and Katrina stepped nearer, their faces close enough to share the same breath. Holly’s stomach twisted violently, she turned away before she could see more. Her fists clenched at her sides as she ran into the house. -- Holly burst into Lexi's room. She had just gotten into bed and was startled by the abrupt entry. Al Capone is behind the bar, polishing a glass that doesn’t exist. Holly is on stage mid-song, copper dress glowing, but she stops the second she sees me. She’s off the stage and in front of me before the piano note finishes dying. Holly (quiet): “You met her.” I nod. Holly hugs me so hard my ribs creak. Holly: “Then we’re closing the mirrors.” She turns to the room. Holly (voice carrying like she owns the afterlife): “Listen up, boys. Every reflective surface in Hot Springs just became enemy territory.

"I guess that makes us a couple of really sad corpses." That made Holly hug him even harder before she finally pulled back. "Now, don't kill me," she said. "Kill a corpse?" Paul arched an eyebrow. "Overkill much?" Holly leaned out into the hallway and pulled Steven, looking sheepish and wary, into the foyer. "Hey," Steven said in a small voice. "Hey," Paul echoed, his face drawn carefully back to neutral. Holly looked back and forth at the two men as the silence filled the room. Then she stepped in to mediate.

“Her name is Hazel. She was banished from the pack months ago. I need to know where she is—exactly where she is.” The spies looked at each other most likely exchanging their thoughts with just their eyes, but the alpha couldn’t be sure that’s what they were doing. One of them stepped forward. “Do you have any pictures of her, Alpha? Or any information that could help us narrow down the search?” Ryder nodded and then went to a drawer in his desk. He took out several pictures, all of which were of Hazel at various stages of her life. Ryder passed the pictures over to the men, his hands shaking.

Neither of them had anything close to recognition in their gazes. "Shit." I rubbed a hand down my face. "I'm not lying. Ask Tove when he comes back." "Ask me what?" He came back in, a tall book in his hands. I told him. "Oh yeah. He was sucking on her neck like it was a new chew toy and he was a dog." Hollyn lifted her hand to her neck. "I don't feel anything different." Her head tipped to the side. "Although, if I expended that much magic, then I should be almost comatose. Not just feeling a little tired."

And as she slowly pulls away from me to get her things, my eyes darken and my senses sharpen. Because I can still feel it. That presence, lingering somewhere out there, watching and waiting. A low growl almost escapes my throat, but I swallow it down, clenching my jaw. I'll let whoever it is go for now, because Holly's safety comes first. But the next time…I won't let him walk away. Because next time… I won’t be holding back. ~HOLLY~ My hands won’t stop shaking. I stare at the open bag on my bed like it’s something unfamiliar… like I don’t even know where to start.

She was not sure if it was just a change, having a friend outside the supernatural world or it was something more. When Holly woke up that morning, she saw Elizabeth and Tessa returning from their walk. A broad smile spread across her face, but it vanished as quickly as it had appeared when her excitement was overshadowed by concern. Elizabeth came from a world of supernatural and no matter what, she was going to have to return to that world. Holly just feared for the heart break that Elizabeth was going to have, and she resolved to talk to Elizabeth about that.

"W-What? Holly's dead?" Hannah stammered, shocked by the news. "Yes, she was shot by Agent Kim," I whispered. "Why did he shoot her?" Hannah asked, her voice trembling. "Holly refused to answer our questions, Hannah. I believe she was trying to hide something," I explained briefly. "What could she have been trying to hide?" Hannah's face was now filled with confusion. I took a deep breath and ruffled Violet's hair, who was also listening to our conversation.

“A doorway. Nothing more.” My breath catches. Because for the first time, I see it. This isn’t Brad. Not anymore. This is something else. Something wearing him. Something using him. Something that tricked me. My voice comes out small. “What… what are you?” He steps close enough that the shadows brush my skin like cold fingers. “I am the Hallow,” he whispers. “And you, Jason, are a pawn who mistook himself for a king.” My blood runs cold. He knows. He knows I thought killing Brad would make me powerful. He knows I believed the lies. He knows I was used. And he enjoys it.

Aziel POV "Holly, I need to hear your explanation about Poppy. She told me what happened with the hunters and what happened that day. Why did you hide her away from me?" I ask her an stare at her. Holly doesn't say anything just tilt her head slightly to the side and then look over at Sky and her hands glow with a faint red glow. I look toward Sky in case he noticed it to but he's just staring at Holly with a blank look on his face.
