For that act alone, he deserves to burn in a special little hell. “I love this guy,” Stolas says, pointing at King’s name on the cover with a perfectly manicured nail. “It’s almost like frightening kids again. I mean, his horrors are so childish… ooh a big dog… ooh a scary car… ooh a clown. How the hell did he ever sell so many books?” As an afterthought, he added, “now there’s a true mystery. I wonder who he sold his soul to for that small miracle?” “Never read him,” I admit, trying to get the demon onto the reason I was here. “I hate to admit it Stolas, but I need your help.”

I gasped and yanked my hand back. A flash—no, a vision—burned across my mind: two wolves locked in battle, blood soaking the earth, howls echoing into a crimson sky. Then a third wolf, silver-eyed and alone, was burying something beneath the stones. I staggered back. Silas caught me, strong arms steadying me before I fell. “What did you see?” he asked, voice urgent. “I…” I struggled to breathe. “There were wolves. Fighting. And something buried here. A talisman, I think.”

Shadow ran up to him, nuzzling his hand and wagging her tail. "Shadow, come here, girl! Where is she?" Andrew asked, picking up her trailing leash. As if he expected an answer, he asked again. "Where is Holly?" Shadow whined and pulled him down the hill. Holly lay on the ground, her hands digging into the steep hillside like she was fighting to stay upright. Pools of pine needles lay around her and her face was covered in dirt and ash. "Holly!" he cried. He could see the fire in the trees, flames licking up and down the parched bark. He dropped his shirt and ran toward her, yelling, "Ray, I found her!" as Shadow barked.

The screen lighting up with the caller's name. "Holly."

ZARA Holly is standing by the front door, talking with Brooke when we reach the hallway. Usually she is the quiet one in the room. Today that is not the case. Words are spilling out of her mouth in a fast stream, and her hands keep moving as she explains something with growing excitement. Brooke stands there listening. Or at least trying to. She nods politely every few seconds while Holly continues speaking. The pace of the conversation leaves little room for her to respond. The whole scene feels slightly overwhelming to watch.

And now his daughter is using it to kill Holly. There was hope in me when I saw Holly run away from Irina but Irina recovered fast from the kick and grabbed the back of Holly’s neck and threw her back to where she chained Holly. Holly scrambled on the wet, dirty floor and was about to fight back but Irina took something from her pocket and stabbed Holly on the shoulder. I gasped and kicked the brake. My heart stopped at what I saw. “Now there is no way for you to survive that!” Irina panted as the injection dropped from her hand. “Have a dose of Wolfsbane, Holly! And wait for me in the afterlife.”

The others said, greeting him with a smile. Holly slowly stumbled out of her tent, as she finished pulling her boot on. "Morning all!" She said surprisingly cheerful. Kerry and Junip noticed she had a strange glow about her this morning, and couldn't help wonder why. "You sure are cheerful this morning," Vlad said with a smile as he looked at her. Holly had a questionable look on her face. "Really? I guess I had a good nights sleep for once." She then said with a large grin. "Or a delicious dream," Kerry said joking, getting a slight blush from her.
