I met Stephanie at a club a couple years ago. We were both drooling over the same hot guy we knew we didn’t really have a chance at. After Mr. Hot Guy left we started talking, gossiping really, about the girl he left with. She got pretty drunk. Books like Tom Sawyer, Edgar Allen Poe stories, Huck Finn and The King in Yellow, (that last one I don’t read much cause it always gives me strange dreams), some old mysteries, a clutch of Lovecraft’s books (they hurt my head, too, so I don’t read them much neither), my Hardy Boys books from growing up, and a whole bunch of newer ones by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. “I know you probably don’t want to talk about what happened, and you don’t have to. But… if you need someone to talk to, I’m here for you, always.” My eyes watered. I dashed away the tears before they could fall. “Yeah. I… I know.” Silence settled for a while, and then the words spilled from my mouth in a rush. I told him everything — as much as I could tell him without divulging how hard Lucius had fucked me. I told him how scared I’d been, watching that bird die and wondering if I would be next. How Lucius had transformed from someone I’d had a crush on to a horrifying monster with fangs and blazing red eyes. How relieved I was when he showed up for me.

Steven's P.O.V. It's dawn, and I'm outside with the warriors while the other packs join us. We have a large group, even bigger than I had anticipated. With so many men, we should be successful. Once everyone is gathered, I get their attention. "Thank you all for coming. It's time that we take over and the Alpha King and the Queen be put to death. They have been in power for too long. I will be your new king. When we arrive at the palace, we kill everyone except for Misty. She is mine." I figure it's best not to tell them what my plans are with Misty because they'll think it's incest. Only I know she isn't my biological daughter. I will tell them all once I have her power, but not before.

So he inspired me to be creative with my writing. Stephen King- He is in my top 5 favorite authors of all time. I love reading his books. I love how dark, real, lighthearted, and horrific his stories can be. I love the world and characters he creates. He is main reason why I gotten into horror. His books "The Shining" and "Carrie", which were turned into classic movies, helped influenced me to create this story.
