All they have to do was mount Nero and Monami respectively who were in their beast form at the moment. “Steve, come right here and let me take your place. “Good morning, beautiful.” Natasha’s eyes widened immediately. The words caught her completely off guard. Aaron said it so naturally too, like it was the simplest thing in the world. A faint heat spread across Natasha’s cheeks before she could stop it. She smiled softly and stepped aside. “Good morning.” Aaron walked inside. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored gray suit that fit him almost too well. Even after the collapse of civilization, Aaron still carried himself like the world had never truly fallen apart. In one hand, he carried several shopping bags. Beside him were two medium-sized suitcases. The apartment instantly felt smaller with him inside it.

"Emily', Steve's voice cut through the tense silence, Emily's head snapped up, her eyes widening in shock at the sight before her. Steve stood there, his appearance a stark contrast to the composed and confident man she was accustomed to seeing. His hair was disheveled, his lips bruised and swollen, and his T-shirt torn and stained, in short he looks like mess or should say a beggar. "What happened to you face , how did you get......" before she complete her enquiry Steve enveloped her in a tight embrace, his arms holding her close as if seeking solace in her presence.

Even with corpses littering the outside world, even with countless people trading their souls for half a bottle of water, he still lived a life of nightly indulgence, holding the lives of countless others in his hands. "Knock knock knock." The car door was rapped on, and a subordinate shoved in the young woman they'd just captured moments earlier. Her clothes were disheveled, her face marked with tears and slap prints, her eyes brimming with venom and terror.
