"We saw you come in with the Alpha's car? We know that the Alpha and Luna have no child yet, so we would love to know who you are." I tucked my hair back a bit and stared at the three girls. No one except Jaxon had spoken to me since I got here, and now that I showed up in André's car, I am suddenly getting attention. "I'm Olivia, and yes, I am not the Alpha's daughter. I am his stepdaughter. My mother is the Luna.” The girls immediately began to squeal with delight, and I looked at them awkwardly.

The man entered the office before her and Stacie’s evil smile was the first thing she saw. “This is the bitch that stole my diamond earring.” Olivia was alarmed and stunned by the accusation. “No Alpha I didn’t-“ She froze when finally had a look at him. Alpha Xander. She had heard so much about him, things that were enough to make her sure that this man was a devil. She had been told he killed without mercy, anyone that he disliked no matter the reason was killed. He was brutal, wicked and evil. The only person that got very close to him was Stacie which is why she was sure that Xander would put Olivia to death when she told him what she did.

Her hand loosened and I retreated my own. "The kind of conversation and you guys held towards each other before did kinda gave it away." I drawled out, picking up my shake. She drew out another sigh. "Sylvie was my bestfriend and a junior to me." I absentmindedly nodded, twirling the plastic within my hand. "Her bro---" She was cut off but a loud thud of the door and it took me all not to flinch at the spot. Old habits, die hard. "Xander and Xavier." She paused momentarily, rolling her eyes again.

"You're not still a virgin, are you? Wait… you've absorbed ability user energy at least once—don't tell me—hm!" He seemed to realize something and widened his eyes in surprise. "Don't say anything, Ray! Just don't!" Steve buried his face, utterly flustered. Damn… Alexander was a fake saint, but Steve truly had the potential to become one. No wonder he seemed so at home in the Zimtam Outpost. Their ideals aligned perfectly. Just then, the man following the footprints of the woman in red finally entered their view. "Ray, someone's coming!" Steve tensed.

Steve said, supporting her, while Megan just stared at him, not knowing what to say. “I need some water.” Steve said as he got up and went to grab a bottle of water from the kitchen. He settled back in the chair, dropping the bottle of water and cup on the stool beside his chair. He poured the water into the cup and began to gulp it down. Just as he was still gulping his water down, Veronica suddenly asked another question. “But does your Alpha have a son though? Any kids that you guys are friends with?” She asked.

Steeling my heart and making a decision that may change my life forever, I look at Alpha Rex and nod. “I accept to be your fake mate.”
