My grip on Steve tightened and I swallowed a lump that formed in my throat. I can’t deny the fact that I was greatly affected by the men walking towards us. Okay, not men. Beasts. That’s what they really are and I fucked two of them and let them mark me and now, they think they have some kind of hold on me. “Step away from her.” Lucas growled when he got closer to us. Crazy Steve really tried to let go of my hand but I held on to him tighter. Why was he so intimidated by them? Not like he knew who they really were.

He looked sheepish for a minute but then smiled. "I'm glad you're so good in bed," Stacy said, "Cuz I don't keep your around for you brains," she said. Steve grinned widely and winked. "So you're smuggling a python, eh?" he asked, looking at Duncan. Duncan chuckled and shrugged, still not one to brag. Steve laughed then, heartily. "My man!" he said, turning and raising his knuckles for Duncan to punch. "You got a snake in your boot?" he asked.

Jake was holding a medium sized Bluetooth radio with a collection of favorite hit songs. I almost forgot he used to dance together for a crew during our fresh man. Though i couldn't remember how the story went all i knew were some rumors that i hadn't paid attention to it up to now. Word had gone around that Steve came from a mega billionaire drug and business family and i don't remember all the parts being that i was naïve and i didn't even know who they were referring to. All that tie i didn't even know if it was true. I never really listened to rumors being that i was always locked up in my room studying, crying or just sleeping. Or reading a novel. The leader said casually. “Steve is a childhood friend of Xuanlu and myself. How could he be part of this plot?” Gary asked, also in disbelief upon hearing his friend’s name. “That’s impossible; Steve had never taken an interest in me.” Xuanlu also replied. “Whatever, are you going to come quietly, or are we going to do this the hard way?” The leader asked with an evil grin.

Adrian requested. “I think the Xanders family are in for a war,” Steve declared, his voice thundering with the weight of anger. ⸻

Steve arrived at exactly eleven minutes after the call. ‘Mmmfgghhh…mmmfgghh’ The muffled sound of a person crying for help echoed in the empty room. ‘B-boss…I’m h-here’ Steve says,his stuttering voice striken with fear. He could bearly breathe,be it the smoke in the room,the bloody and old smell of the room or the oppressive aura jake emits Steve finds it difficult to stay calm as he shakes all over and struggles for breath.

"What... what are you doing here? And why are you with her?" Steve didn't even look at his sister. He looked straight at Spencer, a cold, predatory smile playing on his lips. "Good evening, Spencer," Steve said, his voice echoing in the silent room. "I heard you were looking for an investor to save your little Gala. I brought someone who might be interested in... acquisitions." I stepped forward, the black dress shimmering like oil on water. I looked at Spencer—really looked at him—and realized for the first time how small he was.
