"So this is all about connections?" Mr. Steven looked at her for a long moment. Then he smiled—softly, though the smile didn't reach his eyes. "No. I'm doing this because I'm rooting for love. If love wins, then you'll finally be out of my prison. So yeah, I'm rooting for Pierce! For love." Camille stared at him. Disbelief. Disgust. Frustration. All of it churning in her chest. "This isn't the end, Mr. Steven. Just wait. I'll have him out of this prison, and you too."

That made me suspect that something else was going on right under my nose. “You finally caught me and—” I lifted the man by the neck, and he screamed in pain. “Take off all his clothes,” I asked Gabrielle, and she took out her claws. In a couple of movements, Steven was practically naked, and he had runes on him, but not just any runes—they were power-binding runes. “Who the hell are you bound to?” Steven laughed before spitting blood. Kill this bastard. Sirhan snapped before growling in my head. “You have no fucking idea; you don't know anything about what—”

He probes further, and I give him the same answer. “Yes.” “Then I guess there’s nothing to worry about, but I must warn you if we find out you lied in this meeting about your powers then no one can save you from the fate ahead, Luna Andrea.” I flinched when his eyes changed colors from red to blue, then golden before going back to his original color brown. “Is that a threat, Steven?” Dante asked, but Steven just shrugged. “That’s the end of the meeting.” Elder Steven said, and a growl of disapproval came from Dave and his cohort.

Steven was taken aback by Aiden’s comment, and he explained, “I came here after work.” Aiden was momentarily at a loss for words. At that moment, Star spoke up as if to boast, “Steven’s been coming here every day recently, and he’s bought us a lot of fun toys. It’s so fun hanging out with him.” “Really?” Aiden responded with a forced smile before he glared at Steven again. Steven felt a chill run down his spine once more and became even more uneasy. Aiden’s gaze was truly terrifying. Had he done something to offend him?

“Do whatever you want. All my relatives are dead anyway.” Steven pulled out a bunch of fries like he was making conversation. He smiled. “Are you pretending you don’t know, or do you really not know? You still have family back in your hometown. You just chose to forget about them. I was deciding who to visit next. Now I don’t have to think too hard.” Victor’s eyes flew open. “You wouldn’t dare.” “Why wouldn’t I?” Steven’s tone stayed light. “Don’t forget where you are. This is East Coast. And I happen to work for Zachary Reynolds.”

"What do you mean?" Steven smiled mockingly, "Come on, you know what I mean." "I don't like complexes. Tell me exactly what you mean!" Andrew retorted. Steven's smile faded, "I serve a Royal War General Ans De Lou. As for you, you serve a man who is only a War Advisor. Huh, your position is declining?" A mocking laugh rolled out of Steven's mouth. Andrew Reece only stared coldly, but still waited for his classmate's laughter to subside.

It was precisely because Steve's realm was completely incomparable with the group of monsters equivalent to Heavenly Spirit Realm that everyone did not take him too seriously from the beginning.
