When Steve arrived at the base, he went to his private most room. No one was allowed to enter that room except his best friend Stooper whom he had given access f that room. He wanted to clean himself so that he could avoid any suspicious that he had left the pack to meet a human. When he pushed the door open, he saw his closest friend Stooper sitting on the couch as if he was waiting for him. Stooper had the same nature as Steve but not he was not as powerful as him.

“Thank you Mr Brown for all the help and care you have given me but I can really take it from here. I assume you have lots of things to do.” “Steven. Call me Steven. We are way passed the second names Isabella.” He gives me a small smile that looks odd since I never saw him smile but it makes him look a little bit friendly. “I know you have questions and we have to talk. Her hand loosened and I retreated my own. "The kind of conversation and you guys held towards each other before did kinda gave it away." I drawled out, picking up my shake. She drew out another sigh. "Sylvie was my bestfriend and a junior to me." I absentmindedly nodded, twirling the plastic within my hand. "Her bro---" She was cut off but a loud thud of the door and it took me all not to flinch at the spot. Old habits, die hard. "Xander and Xavier." She paused momentarily, rolling her eyes again.

"And now you're asking for an alliance? How… unexpected. Especially from someone as haughty as you." Steven exhaled heavily. "Times change," he said curtly. "My pack's survival is more important to me than my pride. And unexpected challenges require unexpected allies." He returned their gaze unflinchingly. "I'm sure you're familiar with the saying: The enemy of my enemy is my friend." A spark of something passed through their eyes. Finally, one of them stepped forward. "You precede your reputation, Steven Blackwood," she murmured, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.

"And also, listening to heartbeats is so last season; who still does that?" I shook my head without saying anything. "So, will you go physical with me?" he asked. I shook my head at him again. "You are so different from other friends." Steven raised an eyebrow. "You have other friends?" he asked. I thought about how to answer the question. The only other friend I had was Ophilio, and I had no idea if he even considered me as one of his friends anymore. Steven quickly waved his hands around, obviously dismissing the question. "So I thought of the best way that you can thank me."

Luke said as he walked off to help Randal, who was being tormented by William, which was also not an unusual occurrence. The two men were the eldest of the friendship group and had been in the same high school. Randal and William were opposites, yet somehow ran in the same circles. Strangely, they had become friends even if Randal would jokingly call the other man the ' bane of his existence.' Meanwhile, the ladies chatted amongst themselves and almost missed the sound of a car parking just above the beach. They turned and noticed the cherry red SUV and its slender blonde occupant, who struggled with a large sun cap and beach bag. The figure worked a moment in the warm summer wind.

"Do you have a wife, sir?" Steven just smiled and didn't answer. Even if the world is turned upside down, the future cannot change what they have done in the past. "Are my guests here yet?" he asked them. "Yes sir. They are here," they were immediately led by the staff to Steven's friends. Steven could hear his friends’ laughter even though they were still in the distance. When Ben noticed that Steven and Hivo were coming, he immediately called his colleagues. The closer the two get, the more amazed their friends are. Hivo looks exactly like his father. It's like a smaller version of Steven.

“If you don’t want my dirty money, fine, but I am not paying another damn cent to your dirty debt –“ “Why don’t you go cry to that ‘old friend’ you’re always emailing,” Steven snaps, his voice nasty. “He’ll get you out of it, won’t he?” He leans forward to the camera. My jaw drops open because – I mean, I have told Steven so much about how my childhood friendship with Christian means to me, how much I miss him. But I never expected him to throw it in my face like this.

Their swaying bodies and shimmering figures in the waves stimulated the hearts. Steven stopped abruptly, looked at Philip and Fennel seriously, and said, “Thank you, Young Patriarch Clarke, Lord Apollo. I…” Philip put his hands in his trouser pockets and said with a smile, “Steven, if you’re a little less business-minded, we can actually be friends.” Hearing this, Steven's eyes lit up as he looked at Philip and said, “Young Patriarch Clarke, are you really willing to be friends with me?” Philip shrugged and said, “Why not? Friends should be treated with sincerity. Steven, I hope you won't let me down.”

I told him. I heard Mavin laugh. "It's the other way around, Sunny." He told me. My forehead creased. "Huh? Why would you even take me away?" I asked back. Mavin laughed again. "Nothing. It's just your friend here who does not want you to make friends more." He explained, pointing at Steven. I laughed too. "Steven, we are still friends even though I do not get you sometimes," I told him. "If you are unavailable tonight, I can talk to your brother. Do not be so jealous. We are not taking each other away here. Just talk." I added.
