LIA’S POV Steven’s lips were warm against my lips below, hungry yet careful with me, as though he had been waiting for this moment as long as I had. His hands slid over my waist, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us. I shivered at his touch, whispering his name without even realizing it. “Steven…” He chuckled softly, pausing against my lips. “Say it again. I like hearing it from you.” My breath caught. “Steven…”

Though they were simple words of thanks, they carried a much heavier weight of gratitude, and she hoped Cassian could tell. He nodded in understanding, and just then, Fran, Cass, and Amelia came and dragged him off to the side, claiming they had something to discuss with him. Then Steven approached her. “Allow me to formally and finally introduce myself,” he said to her “I'm Steven, Cassian's assistant. I follow him everywhere.” “Just his assistant?” She queried, “Not his best friend?” “Well, I am his best friend, but I don't like it being public knowledge.” “Why not?”

“I’m happy to be of help, Mr. Steve.” “It seems the person you care about is Mr. Gibson,” Steve said knowingly. He wasn’t naive. She had revealed the information on purpose. Xena admitted it without hesitation. “You guessed correctly.” Not far away, Hayden’s grip on his glass tightened. Leo rested a hand on his shoulder and murmured, “They’re just having a business conversation.” Hayden knew that. Still, the gleam in Steve’s eyes when he looked at Xena irritated him. Leo let out a quiet sigh and glanced toward Felix, who was still chatting with Chairman Lowe’s group. Felix kept his back to them the entire time, completely oblivious to how animated Xena’s conversation with Steve had been.

Everyone who saw Steven's appearance was shocked and bewildered; their eyes looked at him apprehensively as they let him witness this chaotic scene. "Calliope, can you explain? Why are you here? Why hit my staff?" Steven questioned Calliope, who didn't seem to recognize me yet. But what does he say, "my staff"? What's that supposed to mean? I was startled; maybe Steven is the CEO they mentioned. Liam ran up to him and timidly explained: "Sir, I'm sorry for letting you witness this. I will deal with it quickly."

Lunaris said jokingly, turning to face Maria. “Oh, umm. Well, I just wanted to ask what the nature of your relationship with Steven is. You don't have to answer, though; I was just a little curious,” Maria said, turning back to the mirror quickly. Lunaris remained silent for a moment. “Steven is a good person, and he loves Gabriella with all his heart. Even if it may look like it, he's not quite ready to move on yet. He’s still really upset about the fact that I took Gabriella's body, but he keeps me around because of the pregnancy. I'm sure he'll send me out of his house after I give birth to the child,” she answered.

Philip noticed the shift in Steven’s mood and asked, “Do you hate Louis XXVI?” Moses smiled and said, “Young Master Clarke, Steven is Alice's faithful lapdog, but unfortunately, she didn’t take a fancy to him. He and Louis XXVI are love rivals, the kinds who fight whenever they meet each other. You see, Louis XXVI is showing off to him.” Philip came to a sudden realization and glanced at the haughty Louis XXVI over there who stole a glance at Steven with a smug, gloating look. Steven was so annoyed that he simply turned his head away and asked, “What do you mean by lapdog?”

"You can screw off, Father. I'm not taking the position as the next Lycan King." Then, Steven tried to leave. "Where are you going?" Lycan King Xavier asked in a calm voice. "I'm finding my mate." "I have her." Steven stopped when the King told him. Damon immediately grabbed my wrist as we walked towards them. Steven froze in his place. We locked our gaze. His heated stare made my skin shiver. I could feel my hair stand on its tip while looking into Steven's hazel-green eyes. He made me feel complete. I wanted to hug him, to tell him and whisper those words that could calm down his system, to apologize to him, and to tell him that I've already forgiven him.

I’m not doing that. “Speak of the devil” Mila says as she giggles. “He is coming our way” we both turn to see who she is talking about. It’s steven and he is coming our way. when I look over at Lisa, her eyes were sparkling with excitement. I could get her excitement the man was damn gorgeous. Before we had time to blink, Steven was Infront of us. “Hey again ladies” Steven says as he runs a hand through his hair. He looked a little nervous and I couldn’t blame him, Lisa was breath taking with a perfect shade of blond hair and a perfectly curvy body.

Harper could have hidden how severely he wanted to beat up Steven, but he could not conceal the rage in his eyes and dismiss the anger in his heart. Steven knew this was not a pleasant situation for him. The way the father and daughter keep looking at him makes him feel uncomfortable. "Yes, sir. My name is Steven, sir." Steven said respectfully. He extended his hand toward Mr. Harper, hoping that his gesture would show that he had come in peace. "Oh! You are the Steven guy. Can you get out of my bakery now!" Louis said fiercely. Steven gazed at Julie with his hand still stuck out, but she did not look into his eyes.

Steven graciously accepted the invitation. Steven, a man in his forties with a balding head and a slightly plump build, looked rather amusing. His round face always seemed to carry a faint smile, appearing very kind, though his eyes occasionally gleamed with sharpness. Steven was very courteous when he arrived. "Lydia, I apologize for being late. The company matters are quite intricate." "No need to apologize, Steven. You arrived just on time. I heard you like French cuisine, so I booked this place. I hope you like it."
