"I ran into one of his friends," Ruby explained. "Apparently, Steven’s rich now. Big warehouse in this city. He doesn’t live here, but someone else runs it for him. He’s selling fast—big shipments. Word is, in a few days, trucks will arrive at that warehouse, each carrying about two thousand kilos of cargo."

"It's jewelry from Diamond Dreams Jewelers. Honey, you're so good to me!" Seeing her smile again, Steven secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

I wish I was worth her glare. Jeez! What am I saying.. The man cleared his throat. He must have been lectured thoroughly by Echo West before coming here because every now and then, he glanced at her for permission to speak. “I am Steven. It’s nice to meet you all,” He simply said with a smile. Nobody responded. Even Athena returned to her phone. “We know who you are Steven,” Oh, that must be why he wasn’t acknowledged. The mood here was thick and Dad looked to be dozing off.

I shook my head and simply glanced at Steven, looked around and looked for what Zellor was saying that he and Gabriel looked alike. Steven has deep set of brown eyes, aristocratic nose which he inherited from Papa, sharp and chiseled jawline covered with stubbles and naturally red lips suited for a perfect gentleman. Actually, he has all the hard features, fit body, muscles and all, except for his eyes which are the only gentle part of his body and the one I like the most.

The teenage boy replied immediately, "I'm Steven." Marcus commented, "I don't like boys with the name Steven. They always know how to anger me to death." Pascal glared at Marcus, making him shut his mouth. "Steven, how did you get in here?" Steven replied excitedly facing Jack Rich, "I saw you when you morphed into your human form. I secretly followed you to your office. I wanted to reveal myself to you, but I was afraid you might hurt me." Marcus commented, "Reckless."

The man opposite him was Bruce Larkin from the Tranquil Academy, known for his exceptional sword-drawing skill. "Steven, you don’t even have a weapon. How do you plan to go against my sword, the Eclipse Azure Blade?" Bruce sneered at him, his face full of contempt. "If you surrender now, you might escape with your life." Bruce didn't want to get into trouble with the Diamond Guild by killing Steven. To his surprise, Steven just smiled. "The same goes for you. You’re not worth my time. You should step down and surrender." Bruce’s face turned red with fury. "Are you that eager to die? Fine! I’ll grant your wish!"

He pointed at the people around him and shouted, “I’m the heir of the Morgan family, so you’d better watch out! Don’t you dare bump into me!” The people around him complied, acting deferentially and staying out of his way. I scoffed. Although Dreamscape had been shut down, Steven was still addicted to impersonating me. I strode over and grabbed a glass of ice water from a table. I splashed it on his face. “Steven Anders!” I called. Steven looked up and glared at me with rheumy eyes. “You!” Once he realized it was me, his temper cooled down immediately. He muttered, “I’m leaving. I’m leaving now!”

He stirred the mixture slowly while muttering ancient words under his breath. Then he took the black stone, pressed it to his forehead, and closed his eyes. “Give me her full name,” Stooper said softly. “Gabriella Hawkins ” Steve replied without hesitation. “And the one she’s bonded to?” Stooper asked. “Simon,” Steve said, and his jaw tightened just from saying the name.

Philip shrugged and said, “Why not? Friends should be treated with sincerity. Steven, I hope you won't let me down.” Steven frowned slightly, thought for a moment, and said, “Young Patriarch Clarke, don’t worry. I’ll show you my sincerity.” After speaking, he turned around and walked to the corner. He took out his phone, dialed a number, and muttered into it. Then, he returned to Philip and Fennel’s side. He said, “My sincerity will be here soon. I hope you’ll like it.” Philip looked at Steven, patted his shoulder, and said, “Steven, just call me Philip from now on.”
