Amy’s pov I went to Antony’s room to give him his present. I knock the door and he half opened it. I could see only the half of him. He wore only a towel and he was wet but no so wet as I was for him right know. I could see his muscular body and his six pack and as i could see water drops running down at his ups, I wanted to link them. He saw me staring at him with a smirk but I couldn’t stop staring. I barely managed to sidestep her first attack, feeling the sharp gust of air as her hand swiped past me. The adrenaline kicked in, and I quickly regained my footing, ready to defend myself. I dodged her grasp and swung my fist, catching her off guard. She staggered but quickly recovered, retaliating with a swift kick that I barely evaded.

I answered firmly, not in the mood for coddling. With a sigh, Amy turned and walked back to the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge. A few moments later, she came back with a shot glass filled with whiskey and handed it to me. The amber liquid sloshed in the glass as I raised it to my lips and downed it in one go. The burn was immediate, but it barely registered compared to the fire burning in my chest.

Paxton had already walked away for his own safety the moment he say Amy approaching us, knowing how crazy defensive my friend was. Xander was there in a flash and caught me. “Steady there, buddy,” he joked. “Here,” Amy said. Suddenly, a blood bag appeared between the black spots in my vision. “Drink this. It’ll make you feel better. I looked up at her and raised an eyebrow and she smirked. “Don’t worry. It’s human.” I smiled and then drank down the blood bag as a thirsty child would drink down a juice pouch. Amy quickly gave me another and after that one was gone, she asked, “Better?”

Maybe this is Xena’s lesson for all of us. “There’s dumb Xylon,” Amy says with a sigh when the emergency jet shows up. I know get why she was mad earlier. Xylon lied about the emergency. He always acts tough with is sisters, it turns out that he is a softie like us too. “Let’s test how dumb he is,” Xena suggests before calling Xylon. “Mother?” “Amy is in labor. I should like to study you." "Back off," Bryan said, fire wreathing his entire body now. He stood between Amy and the Overlord, flames so hot the air distorted around him.
