I press my palm to the Assessment Stone. The stone is cold. The formation hums under my skin — a faint vibration, like a distant bell. For a moment, just a fragment of a second, something shifts in the space behind my sternum. Something that feels less like a spiritual root and more like a door with a very heavy lock, pressing back. Then the Stone displays its result. The characters are dim. Brownish-grey, the color of unlit embers, barely bright enough to read in morning sunlight. The crowd reads them first because they're watching for exactly this.

The Harmonic Forge ​At the center of the cavern lay the "Pulse-Stone"—a massive, unrefined heart of silver ore that acted as the anchor for the entire western tectonic plate. Rhea stood before it, her white wolf-form reflecting in the mirror-polished floor. Beside her, Elias was a silhouette of jagged obsidian, his wings tucked tight against the shimmering pressure of the room.

Silas slumped against the door, his chest heaving, his breath coming in white plumes. He looked toward the center of the room. The shadow-Lyra was kneeling on the floor, her form stabilizing slightly now that she was away from the lunar wind. "The Stone," she said, her voice a hollow rasp. Silas set the case down and opened it. The Sun-Stone cast a warm, amber glow across the room, illuminating the dusty furniture and the cobwebs in the corners. It was the only source of heat in a world that was turning to ice.

Before they could react, I launch myself at one of them, my claws come out and I slide on the ground while kneeling and cut the back of his ankle. Next , I spy a huge branch on the ground and I take it and throw it to another ones head and before he can react, he is hit. I feel a sharp pain in my thigh and I now notice that I was stabbed by a small stick, I take it out and look around ,but I don't see other wolves! I guess they ran away huh? I guessed wrong because the next thing I know, a guy comes with a huge stone and aims it towards my head... I use the last of my strength to push him and it lands on him instead! It squashes his brain and all that's left of it is something that looks

he mumbled, gently touching the stone. Taegen didn't say anything and kept looking at it. “It was a gift,” he finally said after a long moment. “From Kythaela.” Jimmy gulped and stared at him sadly. He didn't intend to remind him of her, or no, he doesn't even want him to remember her especially when he was with him. He likes it when the king smiles so, he wouldn't like to ruin it. “A woman offered it to her as a symbol of their friendship.” Taegen continued. “She told me she had a strange hair that looked exactly like the Ruby, red and shiny. She always talked about her.”

I said. She thought about it. "Somewhere no one knows the Varyn name," she said. "That limits the options," I said. "I know," she said. "Pick one anyway." I looked at her. "I know a place," I said. "Where," she said. "Cold Stone Mountain," I said. "The valley. Where the facility was. When they are done with it and it is just a valley again." I paused. "It is two kilometres from where I was. I have never actually stood in it."

God knew what was waiting for me. “Enough chatter, it’s time to tell you Miss Holland that I won’t leave you alone!” that male voice intervened and every time I heard it sent shivers through my body. “I see, Mr Stone…” I approved by looking at him, but the bandages still bothered me. “So you do know me...” His voice got a tone lower. “Who doesn’t? Are you here because...” I had to acknowledge the actor’s notoriety but there was no guarantee that the man in front of me, whom I couldn’t see, was actually Dominic Stone.

I was broken out of my trance as a line started to form in the middle of the wolf's face, splitting right down the middle and spreading throughout his entire body, branching off and creating more cracks and holes in the once solid concrete. I stumbled back in surprise, "Liza!" I shouted for the raven-haired Latino, my eyes not once leaving the statue that seemed to be crumbling away. My heart sang its nervousness as it waited for something. What? I had no idea. "I'm over here!" Liza shouted back from a few rows away, her body out of sight. "I'm coming." My breathing hitched in my throat as I viewed the chestnut brown fur that sprouted from the leg that had cement crumbling away from it.

“I can't do my shopping here, I have to do it in Dubai city.” I spoke to Demola. “my Diamond.” I spoke excitedly. “You mean, I’m not your gold? Why Diamond?” Demola asked in curiosity. “Well, I love diamond rings and diamond is a precious jewel and goes with your name. Diamond, I believe means, not comparable. It is a gemstone that sparkles. And you, my love, is my Diamond. Happy now?” he started humming: do re mi fa so la ti do; do ti fa so la mi re do. Shaking his head and enjoying his music. Then I knew he approved my calling him Diamond. When he was done singing, I was watching in amusement.

I tell her. She grabs my face to make me look at her. She has lost her mind. I can’t help her. She might be my cousin and best friend but I am not model material. “They canceled because Mr. Rockstar wants you to act as his girlfriend in Crazy’s new video.” She explains.
