he warned, his eyes scanning their surroundings. Just as they reached out to touch the Moonstone, the ground beneath them trembled. A monstrous creature, a blend of nightmare and reality, emerged from the depths of the earth. Its eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, and its roar echoed through the night. The pack stood their ground, their fangs bared and their claws at the ready. They were about to face a foe unlike any they had encountered before – a guardian of ancient power, awakened to protect the Moonstone from those it deemed unworthy.

There were all kinds of animals I had never seen before. Our cart was being pulled by what looked like a unicorn, but I wasn’t sure. There were giant wildcats with horns, flying creatures that looked almost human. There were big, beautiful flowers blooming, even in the snow. “Urus is the closest town to the ancient capital and castle. I will take you there. In town, you can find someone that will take you to the ancient castle, but it won’t be free. Not everyone here is as kind as I am. It’s scales took on the color of honey, shining like mirrors in the sun, and it landed with the grace of a blue heron, as it’s onyx talons clacked against the concrete patio. Madchen gasped as the beast shook it’s shiny scales, and sitting atop its head were two beautiful black horns. Ruby eyes blinked in the morning mist, eyes that looked vaguely familiar to her.
