A man hit by a car in New York in 1977 got up uninjured, but lay back down in front of the car when a bystander told him to pretend he was hurt so he could collect the insurance money. The car then rolled forward and crushed him I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Vol.2: medium stories: The antics of Bia's crew ( ABC) Bia comments on a crew of children of criminals, in an invisible ship. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. By the time Natasha was dropping Astridah off, she had been brought up to date with all the office gossip and had learnt more about Tulani than she had learnt in the past four years. Tulani was surprised by a visit from his sister Luyando later that evening. “Aren’t you supposed to be preparing dinner for your family right now sis? What are you doing here?” He went to sit back on the sofa where he had been resting, catching up on Season 5 of Suits before the interruption. “What is going on between you and that girl I met in your office Tula?” She asked him, pushing his feet away so she could sit next to him.

I finally looked up at Tony, watching as a range of emotions flickered across his face – surprise, hurt, anger, and finally, a resigned sort of sadness. “When? Where? How?” he asked a rush of questions, obviously trying to wrap his head around this icy piece of information that I had just dropped. I let out another shaky breath. “On Sunday. Last Saturday, we had a long talk about us and everything that’s just going on with us and this whole marriage of a thing and all of that. While we were talking, he broke down and started apologizing about everything he’s basically put me through since we’ve been together, then the whole talk eventually ended with him telling me that he had broken up with

The message contained a blurry video of more than ten seconds. When I opened it, I froze instantly. The video was shot from a long distance across the building, with the camera pointed directly at our bedroom. In the frame, I was alone, struggling to free myself from under the bed. There was no second person, no suggestive posture, no improper action—only an ordinary person’s embarrassed scene of being stuck and saving herself. But because of the tricky shooting angle and deliberate cropping, it could easily be misinterpreted by people who did not know the truth.

Louis knew his junior very well. The older man finally sighed and smiled. “Did you eat so late that you got sick to your stomach? Shall I order some food here?” Alain finally looked back at Louis. He felt grateful that his senior did not pressure him to tell the story. Honestly, he wasn’t ready to talk right now. In a situation like this, he was grateful because Louis was the first to meet him. His senior was very understanding of his condition even though he didn’t tell him anything. Perhaps it would be a different story if he met Brielle. The girl surely would force him to spill everything. She wasn’t a bad girl, but she couldn’t read the situation sometimes.

She laughed and thought to herself "my weakness is teachers". -Well, I already told you my whole life story. Of course, when she told her life story she didn't include Gabriel. -Well look my life is not that interesting it is very common I have a family that does not live here my family is European I came to visit this country and I stayed here my family is a very traditionalist family they come from time to time to see me and I also go there from time to time I have two more brothers they live with my parents and I am a professor at several universities, so as you see my life is not very interesting.

Then, she said, “You know what this sounds like, right?” Amelia narrowed her eyes. “Don’t say it.” Maya grinned. “Enemies to lovers.” Amelia groaned. “Maya, I swear—” “Just saying,” Maya sang. “It’s a classic trope.” “Not our trope,” Amelia shot back. Maya giggled. “We’ll see.” Amelia rolled her eyes. “Anyway,” she said, “enough about him. I have other news.” “Ooh,” Maya said. “Spill.”

It was late at night when Jonathan and Diana got out of the Gaddi. In silence, the two walked back to the hospital. The street was deserted and it seemed natural that they walked arm in arm and slowly. The night was beautiful and pleasant and so they could appreciate it better. In fact, that night seemed made for love. Jonathan's nearness began to exert a strange attraction on Diana... who wanted to get closer but steadfastly resisted. However, as they walked, his arm brushing against hers, their bodies very close, the desire increased and a climate was created between them that suddenly, out of the blue, he stopped and tightened Diana in his arms.
