Rising from the Quiet Storm

Rising from the Quiet Storm

With his head held high, Alfred retorted, "I know exactly what I'm doing. Let's get one thing straight. I've been fed up with you for ages. For three years, I've been asking for some legitimacy, but you've stubbornly refused, leaving me to be mocked as the gigolo. Who are you trying to fool with your so-called deep love? "You're fond of Nelson, right? Well, today, you're going to watch him get degraded." Alfred seized Jennifer by the hair, his smirk directed at me like a challenge. "Let's get this show on the road." I watched the men charge at me with a cool detachment. Then, suddenly, the sound of gunfire erupted from outside, and one by one, the attackers crumpled to the ground. Alfred's e

When the Storm Ends, Life Begins Again

When the Storm Ends, Life Begins Again

There was not a trace of humor in it. Wynnie froze for a moment as she stared at the divorce agreement in disbelief. Then, she suddenly suddenly flew into a rage, pointing at my nose as she launched into a vicious tirade. “You even prepared the divorce papers! And you still dare say this wasn’t all planned by you?” “You’re using this as revenge. You want to destroy me! I won’t let you succeed!” Then, she tore the agreement into shreds. Her outburst did not anger me in the slightest.

Storm-Worn Hearts

Storm-Worn Hearts

On the phone screen, he stood on Dawson’s porch under the harsh wash of the motion light, hands in his pockets, head tilted toward the camera with the lazy confidence of a man who had never been told no and made to respect it. And beside me, Dawson’s entire body turned to stone. The warmth that had been wrapped around my waist a moment ago vanished. His arm lifted away, his muscles going tight and corded as if his body had decided it was back in a place where mercy got you killed. His breathing changed, shorter, sharper. His gaze didn’t blink. A quiet, controlled kind of fury rose off him in waves. “Dawson,” I whispered, my voice barely there. He didn’t answer.

After The Storm.

After The Storm.

She explained about the syllabus and about the previous lessons. Mrs.Smith explained, "So we have already completed our last chapter. Today we are going to start a new poem named, 'After the Storm' by William Wordsworth." Then looking at Daisy, Mrs. Smith ordered, " Daisy Miller, will you read the poem loudly so that rest of the class can hear?" Daisy replied obediently, "Yes, Mrs. Smith." Then she started reciting the poem, standing in her place, in her silvery voice. The poem sounded like a melodious song in her sweet voice.

Trapped in the Storm

Trapped in the Storm

Storm The flight from Houston to Dublin took just under ten hours. On the flight, I did what Winter and Felix had said, and set up the phone with my favourite apps and downloaded music onto Spotify. We were halfway over the Atlantic Ocean when Winter and I had renounced our ties to the Hunter’s Moon Pack, which meant that we no longer had any links to that pack.

Loved this book! Wonderful suspense not knowing which way things were turning at times. Only thing I didn't like at times were the POV chapters you pay for that repeated everything from the previous chapter with a couple added thoughts, but some chapters being below the normal price made up for it.

This is truly one of the greatest stories. No gratuitous sex scenes which is s fantastic thing. You are getting to know the characters and their is a plot. You have even left things open to continue on to another book! I hope this continues!

Dancing in his Storm

Dancing in his Storm

AUGUST I tried to breathe the pain away. Ambrose’s kick wasn’t that powerful purely because I’ve received more kick from him and this was by far, the softest of them all. Despite of that, the kick still hit the bulls’ eye of my hollow stomach and I’m not even wearing anything to begin with. I had to flinch for a short moment but I tried not to show any signs of weakness. I centered my focal point at Ambrose and I instantly saw the upcoming storm named typhoon Ambrose. His glare was filled with so much intensity and that was more than enough for me to know that he’s about to go on a rampage.

The Alpha's Green-eyed Luna

The Alpha's Green-eyed Luna

The pack huddled together in their stronghold, terrified by the fury of the storm. As the storm raged, Fionn heard a howl in the wind. It was a howl like no other, a howl that spoke of power and darkness. The howl chilled Fionn to the bone, and he knew that this was no ordinary storm. This was a storm summoned by dark magic, and it threatened to destroy everything the pack had built. Fionn rallied the pack, and they fought back against the storm. They used their combined strength to hold back the raging wind and rain.

LOVING A GANGSTER

LOVING A GANGSTER

**** Alex stood still, immobilized by the rage within him. He couldn’t move for close to thirty minutes, his mind a chaotic storm. His face was twisted into a mask of fury and pain, his nostrils flared, and a low growl rumbled from deep in his chest. It was a sound filled with vengeance, a warning that a storm was coming, and it would bring destruction. His fists opened and closed, almost crushing the device in his hand with his grip. Every part of him radiated lethal intent. He would stop at nothing to find those responsible and make them pay. Alex wasn’t just angry; he was a force of nature, ready to bring hell on earth.
