The Alpha's Only Weakness
As I approached, the low waves stopped rolling, and I was finally able to see that the once glossy surface was cloudy, turning it grey.
Braden stood beside me, shoulders tense, and his eyes locked on the water
“Something’s wrong,” he muttered.
“You think?” I whispered back, though my throat was dry.
A gust of wind blew my hair back away from my face, and I shivered at the sudden change as I looked up.
Dark storm clouds were rolling in quickly, and I looked to Braden, terrified that he might be right.
