The sky was a mixture of ash and coal as the rain clouds rolled into view. Dominic smelled it days ago, that there was going to be a storm. The weather forecast predicted it to last at least three days, but he knew they were only getting a few scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the night. He was sure it would pass by the morning.

No single star showed up, only the hideous clouds came forth, floating furiously in the sky, making a secret organisation that terrified many people outside as they began running in all directions. "Oh, looks like it is going to rain soon!" Sean grinned, analysing the cumulonimbus clouds as they hoover around the sky of Seoul. It became pretty ugly outside — so gloomy, matching David's mood. Soon, David heard a tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter.

Hope's POV. The sky outside is the color of ash. Muted gray clouds roll low across the treetops, casting the forest in a dull, bruised light. Rain hasn't come yet, but I can smell it in the wind — sharp, earthy, like a promise half-kept. The storm hovers on the edge of the world, holding its breath. So am I.
