She asked, not knowing if it really mattered, but she hoped that it would help. Vivienne answered, “Xander Voidwalker, dragon of void, Lucian Lightbrighter, dragon of light, Darius Stone, dragon of Earth, Cassius Stromrider, dragon of Storm, Kieran Frost, dragon of Ice, Lean Blackthorn, dragon of Shadow and Kai Morrison, dragon of fire.” The names resonated through Maya like a physical force, each striking a different chord within her. She swayed, overwhelmed by the sudden influx of sensations—her newly awakened dragon nature responding to each male in ways her human mind couldn't process.

Sawyer Tee and Storm have their arms crossed over their broad tattooed chests. I must admit, my uncle is hot for a thirty-four-year-old dude. He is just as ripped as Storm, but his muscles are slightly larger. If these two were anything but human, smoke would come out of their nostrils like dragons. One would be the color of amethyst, while the other would be charcoal gray. “Why are you in my girl’s apartment, Gator?” Storm finally growls.

“Unfortunately, I didn’t know that there were wolf traps in the woods and I wanted to pay attention. Thank you so much for helping me out.” Storm waved her thanks away. This is what she does. Healing. Her mother was among the pack’s healers and she loved it. “My name is Tasha. What are you doing out here in the cold? You don’t look too fine to me” Storm opened her mouth to tell Tasha that she was banished from her land, but that would lead to many more questions and she really didn’t want to answer all those now. “My name is Storm” Tasha smirked and she smiled at the reaction.

Deciding that she needed to take the chance on them being related, or at least from the same thunder, she said, “I’m here with Slate. Do you know him?” The dragon tipped his head to the side, as if he were pondering what she’d said. She knew that dragons could understand spoken word in their dragon forms. He didn’t seem angry that she knew Slate, so she decided to take him further down that road. “Are you part of his thunder?”

“Don’t I need to pack and…” Waving a dismissive hand she laughs. “That’s what servants are for, Little Sister. Right now this is your job.” The first dragon I face is my nephew, Orion. He is a very unique type of dragon, a combination of fire, sky, and water--a storm dragon. There have been other storm dragons in the past, but currently, he is the only one living in the Celestial Kingdom. “He’s just a boy!” I glare at Ona. “I am not hurting him.”

Raging fires encircled her like a protective wall. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, feeling empty, hollow, lost. She could hear the sound of laughter, a cruel, demented laugh. Turning her head towards the sound, her eyes reflecting the flames dancing as they were slick with tears. Stepping through the flames, she stalked towards the person laughing at her, her hands partially shifted into the claws of her dragon. Ready to tear out the throats of whoever had dared to mock her.

What a lethal weapon a vampire dragon would make for Antoh to have on his side. “He’s trying to turn them, not kill them,” she shouted. “He’s such slime,” Lizzy hissed. “Find the others,” Tristan said. “It’s time I bring out the secret weapon and stop this now.” The battle was so frenzied, Chloe and Lizzy were able to slip past them unnoticed. She stopped long enough to see Tristan transform into dragon state and reign fire on whatever vampire had the misfortune of getting into his path before racing toward the fertility lab. She was grateful the soldiers couldn’t shift into dragon state as she watched them turn into vampires before her very eyes.

Chapter 2 Donovan stormed the Central Ward where Natasha, the mystery lady, had been placed under emergency medical surveillance in a bid to salvage her. His arrival at the ward was not without an entourage of cops who sieged the ward in their numbers and hoped to man the precinct from the roaming wolf and other intruders.

About twenty meters away I spot them, or more to the point I spot him. Clayton Blackridge Alpha of the Lobo Sombra pack in his huge gun metal grey wolf.
