"Let's get to work." Tate walked in wearing his training gear and glanced at his wrist watch and then looked at me. He was about to get the shock of his life because he had no idea that Ember was back and so were my powers. He smirked at me. "Come at me Freya and show me what you've got because I want to see your determination." I nodded quietly. I stretched out my fingers and released a wave of flames sending them in his direction and I saw his eyes widen in shock.

FURY. It surged through her veins like wildfire racing over parched ground, hot enough to burn away every trembling thought. Her breath hitched, her vision narrowed, and the world became nothing but him. Cian’s sneer, his hand digging into her waist, the cold certainty in his eyes that she would break.

Even Zephyr had felt that terrifying pressure when it neared him.

Not now, not ever” Then she turned to Blue who was staring at her with her arms crossed over his chest…” Mate or not” She spat. “Storm,” She turned around to face the other mana, Raven whose eyes were now red although he was smiling with a very tender expression on his face,”

These whirlwinds, like sentient storms, spiraled across the battlefield, crackling with dark energy, aimed directly at Lara. Lara’s heart pounded as she stood her ground, watching the sky fill with Thana’s stormy avatars. The whirlwinds circled around her, moving faster and faster, creating a barrier of dark winds that blocked out the light and obscured her vision. Their force tugged at her, pulling her toward the center of the storm as if intending to shred her piece by piece.
