The Alpha's Omega
My head snaps up just as Ryder glares at me, his fangs flashing like silver in the firelight.
Jace! Snap out of it! We have to move!
His massive head presses against my shoulder, shoving me upright, breaking me from the trance. A switch flips in my mind, and suddenly, my body responds—driven by raw instinct, by survival. We sprint down the hall, flames licking at our fur, the searing heat biting at our skin with every step. Smoke coils around us, thick and suffocating, but we push forward, weaving through the wreckage of burning furniture and shattered glass. The walls groan, weakened by the relentless inferno, as more Molotovs shatter, their liquid fire exploding into new, raging blazes.
