Story Stuck On Uploading Novels & Stories

I whispered bitterly, looking down at the jersey for a second. The timer kept ticking down at the top of the screen. 00:46:51 Lila immediately sat down in front of the laptop, typing frantically. “We can stop it,” she said quickly. “I can stop it.” I blinked at her. “What?” “I just need maybe thirty minutes,” she muttered, already opening different windows. “The upload signal is connected somewhere external. If I can interrupt it before the timer finishes—” I stared at her in shock. “You know how to do this?”

The progress bar crawled forward slowly. Her breathing remained steady, but her grip tightened around the laptop edge. The file name flashed across the screen:

I simply stared at the screen a moment. Next I chose a file. Another snippet. Short. Edited. Quite unlike the rest. I had made the tone a little more. Changed the layering. Distorted the background sufficiently. Not to cover it up. Only to a point that makes people wonder. I clicked upload. Progress bar was slow. I was waiting with my fingers lightly on the keyboard. Then— Upload complete. I didn’t stop there. I have opened a new account. Then another. And another. Same file.

Just need to get home to upload them. Also I wanted to apologize for taking so long to update. My kid had been down with covid so things have been crazy lately. He is better now thankfully. He is only four so it's been a struggle. I promise to work harder to make up for my lack of updates and hurry up and finish the book.

A rock in the stream. "We aren't coming back," Elion said. "We aren't finishing the show. We are done playing games." He leaned into Cale. "Leave us alone," Elion said. "Please. Just let us be." He hit stop. The room was silent. "Was that okay?" Elion asked. "It was honest," Cale said. "I'm going to upload it. Using the coffee shop Wi-Fi down the street. I'll bounce the signal." "You know how to do that?"

The upload was already halfway done. Marcus pointed at it. “Stop it.” The analysts began typing commands again but every attempt failed. The connection protected the upload. Adrian entered a deeper firewall command. The system rejected it again. Yvonne’s voice rose slightly. “So we can’t stop it?” Marcus shook his head slowly. “Not in time.” The progress bar continued moving. 60 percent. 70 percent. 80 percent. Yvonne watched it. Her hands tightened. “What is he uploading?” Adrian was still analyzing the file structure.

I clicked on my USB then went through it but the happy Birthday doesn't come. I searched again but it's not there. "What's happening ?" I muttered to Sierra "I taught it was in here" I said. Why is everything going wrong today ? Why is it always that when we plan something, it goes well but at tge last moment, everything starts flopping. Why !? "Yeah. We made it and put it in this usb" She added and scrolled again, to find it "Liiza, since we made it with your canva account, why don't we just log in and it will be there right" She said and my eyes sparkled.

"It didn't need the server. It was never in the building." The drive began to heat up, glowing with a fierce, blinding intensity that seared through her palm. "Pim, let it go!" Chalida screamed, reaching for her arm. "I can't!" Pim gasped, her voice strangled. "It’s... it’s uploading. It’s not uploading to the public mesh. It’s uploading to me."

“I can corrupt the upload but I need time.” “You have five minutes,” Damien said, aiming his weapon at the only door. Four minutes in, bullets tore through the metal wall. Jade dove in front of Grace, taking a shot to the shoulder. She screamed, but didn’t fall. Grace didn’t flinch. She typed faster. The Upload Crash “Now!” Grace shouted. Jade slammed the kill-switch. The lights flickered. The server hissed. The screen turned black. Then: “Upload: Failed.” Zara’s voice screamed from the speakers before going silent.
