We need to strike back at Viaan Adams before he gains any more ground.” Mr. Russo’s jaw clenched with barely-contained anger, his tone dripping with frustration. “I’ve decided it is time for me to step into Adams Corps finally,” he declared, his voice low and menacing. “I’m done playing this cat-and-mouse game with Viaan Adams. After the humiliation he inflicted upon me, I refuse to cower in the shadows any longer.”

Instead, one man stepped out. Just one. He was older than the Triad, covered in expensive Italian wool, and he looked like he owned the entire building without even trying. He had this cold, aristocratic face that probably made women throw themselves at his feet, and the way he moved was so smooth it was almost irritating. Dominic Russo. Even I knew that name. Everyone knew that name.

Alex stood up abruptly but was pulled down by the doctor. "Control yourself!" he warned him. "It would be rude of me if I do not introduce myself. I'm Anthony Russo. Your awesome and winning competitor" the man on red suit chuckled. He had a goatee around his chin and a long black hair that he packed as a ponytail. "I see you have hurt yourself. Jake was busy working on a file when the knock and a familiar scent invaded his senses. He stood up immediately and walked over to open his office door. The ancient, older man smiled at him. Richard was a tall, well-built man with short, dark brown hair that had grey around the temple and deep-set brown eyes. His skin had an olive tone, declaring his Mediterranean heritage. “Richard! You should have called me. Why did you travel all the way here?” Jake said while gently leading the older man inside. “Not that you are not welcome, but you must not exert yourself.”

Sarah said sarcastically. Was this lady mad and deliberately courting death? Which part of her eyes saw Richard as ugly? If only she knew that she was speaking to Richard Wilson, the world's most ruthless, powerful and business tycoon, perhaps, she wouldn't dare to be this careless. The look he gave Richard was deadly. Richard cleared his throat and immediately stepped away from Alexa. “Relax, Lucian. Why so serious? I came here for our reunion—why are you all acting like this toward me? I’ve changed!” he said, laughing as he forced the man sitting near me and Steffano to move. “Hi, Miss. Are you Steffano’s girlfriend?” “No. She’s my wife,” Steffano answered again, cutting in. “I see… so it’s not just your life that leveled up, huh? Judging from his accent, Romeo deduced that these men were certainly not Americans. "He would be here anytime soon" the second man replied. "Excuse me please, who are you guys?" He asked trying to free himself from the ropes once more. "Oh! Look, he is awake" The first one pointed out. Romeo rolled his eyes; he was certain they had seen him struggle with the rope. "Please I beg you, let me go" He pleaded. "Save your strength till boss comes" On cue, the door opened and a man entered. He held a cigarette in his hands. Romeo noticed he was heavily built and he had this aura that screamed trouble for him.

Russ assisted and took them inside. "Well how about the drinks? It's not gonna get down by itself!" "Sorry, pal. We don't need it, it's no fun anymore" Russ replied him and walked inside. The truck driver chuckled. "Did he just say sorry? …" His face lightened with a huge smile as he faced his truck. "Oh my God, I'm rich! I'm rich! I'm fucking rich!"
