I mean, I was an amateur writer and I was just writing crap. Sweet Stranger is a book I wrote based on my real life love-tale. It dives into the life of a young woman, Carly, who fell insanely inlove for a sweet stranger, Ramsey, who turned out to be the enemy that murdered her father. Though the book receives a lot of backlash, I must say it is one of the books that has gotten mind-blowing recognition and gotten millions of reads on GoodNovel. I never expected that honestly. I hear a loud knock on the door.

A lonely island surrounded by an endless sea of white mist. At its center stood a single lighthouse. Its light was dark. Not black. Simply... the absence of light itself. “Urghh!” I grumbled out of frustration as I watch the tattooed stranger drive out of my street. “We have a million things to handle and somehow you think another investment is what we need?” “I need,” I corrected. “It's what I need.” Clara is what I need. A soft knock followed a moment later and I looked up to catch long toned legs walking in. Her heels clicked. One. Two. Three until she was inside. Clara fucking Mallon. My Stranger. She stood framed in the doorway looking all stunning “Who the hell is she?” Mike asked in a whisper not loud enough to ruin the moment. Mike looked at Clara and looked back at me, curiosity crippling. “Who is—”

Livid, she hurled her phone at the mirror. "Melanie! You'd go to these lengths over a man?!" She brushed off her agent's protests and sped off to the Shaw Group's headquarters. She wanted to get some answers! However, when she got to the Shaw Group's skyscraper, she did not even make it past the front doors. The receptionist, all smiles but ice-cold, blocked her way.
