A night with a stranger

A night with a stranger

Ryan said. "Thank you for that kid bro". Theo said and Jayden scoffed." for what you just said I will get us another drink but is on me this time". he stood up and left, a few seconds later he came back holding three glasses of drink and gave each of them, they gulped all at once. "Gosh, what kind of drink is this?" Ryan asked as he felt a burning in his throat. "Is called Devil Springs Vodka". he said and Jayden stood up to leave " Are you leaving?"

Mercy and Hope

Mercy and Hope

She honestly responded yet still with a smile on her pretty look. "Mine was this lioness from Lion King which stands pretty bizarre" "F*ck it is" She gazes at me with surprise and pulls her eyes back to the road. Our voice cackle from jokes and tales from our past and the dearest recollection we preserved than our burden is our satisfactory chat of all time. Marina's vehicle, at last, met the restaurant after we bust into the road through the opening of district four. "At Crooked Tavern near the bridge of district six, we caught the sellers selling Hybriterage drugs for gangs near the alleyways of the districts and roads" She seize another cigarette in the restaurant we book in which permit

Riding with the Pack

Riding with the Pack

"I'll grab a drink at that bar while I wait." "Suit yourself," Blayze said. "I shouldn't be long." Cyrus smiled as I turned to cross the street. When I pushed open the neon-lit door of the bar, Americana rock music blasted my ears. Most of the inhabitants were also wearing biker vests—er, cuts—but the insignia was different from the guys at the garage. "Blood Dogs" was written above a front-facing image of a wolf gnashing its teeth.

A VOW TO HATE

A VOW TO HATE

The mystery call wasn’t done. “It’s special today. Sipsmith Strawberry Smash Gin. It is flavored and contains alcohol. We’re trying to see how well it will perform in the market.” “Layla!” I almost steered my balance. Bella jeered my shoulders, drawing my attention to the bar. “What do you think, girls?” Another shoulder peek. He was gone. “Let’s try it.” We chorused, pulling out a bar stool to sit on. *** “I can get my own Uber, thank you.” I boasted, put in place by Aiden.

Captain Alejandro’s Daughter

Captain Alejandro’s Daughter

It’s because of my beaming hair that enthralls the passerby’s attentiveness. Should I dye my hair black? I hate being the center of attraction. Unbearable feelings were suddenly building over me as I walked along the street, getting more attention from the people. I immediately turned around and found a way that was out on the bunch of people. While sighing, I started walking again. There aren’t too many people on the current road I’m going through. Stray dogs were walking on the street; some have sores on their bodies, thin skins, and just staring at them feels like noisome. Adding with the sidewalk trash cans while the garbage inside was scattered on the pavements.

All I Want for Christmas is Pooch

All I Want for Christmas is Pooch

“Really? Brady asked. “They run that far?” “Not usually.” she said. “Most of the time, they jump out of a vehicle, like when they stop for gasoline or something like that.” “That’s so sad!” Brady said, shaking his head. “Does that happen a lot?” “No, I don't think so, but it does happen.” There’d been a few dogs reunited with their families who happened to stop to refuel or for other reasons in Holiday Hills since Noelle had taken over the shelter, but not a lot. “Most of the strays we get in are people who dump their dogs because they don’t want them anymore, or just accidents where a dog gets out from a door left open or digs under the fence.”

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

Ginika muttered and hurried behind the woman. They have long left the inn and were making their way to the sea, which was at the northern side of the kingdom, somewhere on the other hand of the market. The soapy smell of fish, which blended with the moist air was evident, and not even the blazing sun could keep down the stench. People clustered, both traders, hawkers, and buyers alike, and seemed unaffected by the stink. It was difficult to pinpoint the source of the odor. “Too many people,” Ginika commented. He was not used to such a scene. Aside from that, he fought Black Vesslers recently, and they might see him.

Raven the lurker
I have gotten used to read female lead stories from her so this time when it is male lead it's quite a refreshing and interesting change up. The start is promising and very well written and it's not the typical type of a novel so give it a chance as this author never ceases from surprising you.

I've been following Dentot for a while now, and I must say, she never ceases to get me hooked on her stories! The change of perspective to a male lead is quite refreshing.. I'm expecting more action packed scenes and of course a bit of sexy stuff - maybe a lot of it would be good!

Devali's Deception: Vivianne's Misery

Devali's Deception: Vivianne's Misery

I smile widely as I watch the dogs close in on the traitorous maid — first sinking their teeth into her thighs, then her arms. I empty the glass of wine in one go, enjoying the sound and sight of her being torn apart. Her screams echo across the grounds. Other maids nearby are crying, terrified by what they are witnessing. As her voice grows weaker and weaker, I walk closer, still holding my glass. The handlers pull the dogs back and restrain them. “This is exactly what you deserve for putting me in a position I did nothing to cause.” I reach for another drink, but Piattos hands me a bottle of vodka instead. I glance at Zeb — I only asked him, but apparently Piattos thought ahead too.

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

The Neutral Zone was a chaotic, beautiful riot of flickering neon and stagnant filth. The heavy, cloying smell of cheap synthetic meat and ionized ozone filled the stagnant air, creating a sharp, sickening contrast to the crisp scent of pine and damp earth we had left behind in the forest. We pushed our way into The Den, a notorious sub-level bar where the bass from the music was loud enough to vibrate the very bones in my chest. The patrons here were mostly ghosts of their former selves, too high on "Glow"—a terrifying new street drug made from distilled, illegally harvested wolf-blood—to even care who walked through the heavy iron door.

Bonded to the Bastard: My Rejection, His Obsession

Bonded to the Bastard: My Rejection, His Obsession

She gives me a look that says, Don't you dare call me a pet. "She’s a stray," I lie. I try to sound casual. "She showed up a while back. I think she ran away from a breeder or something. Huskies are known for being runners." Sombra thumps her tail once. It sounds like a threat. Liddy isn't buying it. She walks closer, inspecting Sombra like a piece of furniture with a stain on it. "A stray?" Liddy purses her lips. "That explains why she has no manners. She’s staring at me like she wants to bite me."
