“I'll rip your tongue out, son of a bitch.” Katie growled, but he only reacted by pressing his body even harder against her, which only fueled her need. Her own body was betraying her. “Who the hell are you?” he growled, his voice piercing her skin, giving her goosebumps. He was so close to her that she stared right into her silvery eyes, which were swirling with power; this wasn't normal, even for werewolves; eyes weren't meant to do that.

Her scream echoed through the room, shrill and panicked. "Aaah!" But as soon as she spotted someone behind me, her expression morphed in an instant. Her eyes grew red-rimmed, tears welling up like a tragic heroine. "Emily, I know you despise me, but my child… my child is a life too!" I felt a strong hand seize my wrist, and I turned to find Tristan staring at me, his gaze glacial. "That's enough," he said coldly. "Emily, I asked you to come here for a civil conversation. How could you attack Faye like this?"

Cleaner. Anger. The kind that didn’t eat inward but burned outward. A faint pressure built behind my eyes. I paused in a patch of shadow, lifting a hand to my temple. As I did, the world around the edges of my vision brightened for a blink. I caught my reflection in a narrow, leaded window. My eyes flashed silver. Just once. Just a ring of light around the pupils, there and gone. A spike of pain lanced through my skull—sharp, bright, then fading to a dull throb.

Beauty reached toward it. The moment her fingertips brushed its surface— A sharp pain shot through her wrist. She gasped. The room disappeared. Darkness. Cold. The sound of chains dragging across stone. A woman's voice echoed through the void. "Find me..." Beauty spun around. Nothing. Only endless darkness. Again the voice whispered. "Before they do." Then... Golden eyes opened within the darkness. Watching her. Waiting. Beauty jerked backward with a cry. The vision vanished. She stumbled into Alex, who caught her before she hit the floor.

I suppress another growl and watch his eyes glow no longer his deep blue eyes but bright sapphires. “She smells delectable when she’s scared,” Justin growls and I feel Ash pushing through to the surface no longer fighting him as much. Her tear-stricken face shows fear and her eyes land on mine. I can see the fear in her eyes and she is visibly shaking. She has no recognition in her eyes as to who I am but she seems puzzled by my appearance.

A thousand eyes followed her as she walked the bridge, the cheers of the people masked behind veils of pity and curiosity. Among them stood Ryder Coldclaw, his amber eyes fixed on her as he watched the procession. His gaze was sharp, calculating, a predator eyeing prey. He didn’t flinch, not even when their eyes met across the distance. Eva forced a neutral expression, but beneath her composed exterior, her mind raced. Her pulse quickened, the bitter taste of iron in the back of her throat. He was dangerous. She could sense it in the way his stare held her, like a wolf sizing up its next move.

SKYLAR I wipe down the mirror and then look at my reflection. I take a sharp breath in as the sunken look around my eyes is gone and there is more colour in my cheeks. Again, Iris seems to giggle at me in my head. I look into the mirror, staring at my reflection and say, “What are you giggling about?” I watch as the eyes, my eyes, change to the ones I saw in my dream and she says, “You have it bad…”

I skillfully walk over to the light switch , the light burns my sore eyes – leaving me to squint until they properly adjust. My legs slowly move , one after the other – my movements lack will. My eyes look at my feet , and when they stop – I slowly lift my head to see what I had stopped in front of. My eyes meet with a pair of red , swollen , empty eyes – all I could do was look at them and watch how blank and how they lacked any emotion. Stray hair strands are plastered to my face , due to the tears sticking them to my skin. Something catches my eyes as they blink towards my chest. Three nail drag marks are drawn against my chest – a little blood is visible , but it is just a scrap wound. T

Evelyn noticed a subtle change in his eyes, a dull, dark red color flaring around the edges of his black pupils. "I'll make it change." Irzey stared at her and repeated the words again, as if reciting some ancient incantation. "I'll make it change." ...... ...... Evelyn opened her eyes suddenly, breathing erratically and gasping slightly as she stared blankly up at the high ceiling, only to feel the dreamy, slightly scary looking eyes belonging to Irzey staring straight back at her even at this very moment. She let out a long breath, turned her face sideways, and bumped into a turquoise eye.
