By now, the car was rolling all over the road and I knew soon, dad would be closing up on us. But Ava wasn't through yet. She grabbed the steering and lurched back into the road. A running van hit the car nose but it didn't stop Ava. She tried all means to regain balance but I would be a fool to allow that. I bite her upper arm till I tasted her blood on my lips. Ava screamed and left the steering again. This time, I kicked her face with a strength I don't know where it came from. Ava's face flushed with blood as she groaned and hit her head against the car glass. It was clear she had lost her powers cos she was bleeding so badly from hitting her head on the steering.

Each strike was fueled by the pain of losing Kairo, each spell cast with the burning desire for revenge. The adversary quivered before her, unfit to repel the sheer force of her wrath. Ava came a whirlwind of destruction, her movements a blur of murderous grace. No bone could stand in her way. The frame groaned, the steel groaned louder, and then, finally, the door flew off its hinges, crashing into the room with a violent thud. I burst through the threshold, weapon raised, my vision narrowed to a single point of lethal intent. But the sight stopped my heart. Aurora was strapped to the reclining chair, her head lolling to the side, her eyes rolled back so only the whites showed. A thick, wide-bore needle was buried in her arm, and a glass jar on the tray was already filling with the dark, rich crimson of her blood. And there she was.

She stood abruptly and struck him across the face with a sharp, resounding slap. Xavier staggered back, stunned, he wasn't expecting that. Aurora was usually soft, calm and patient but right now, he did not recognize the Aurora before him.

Blood covered his hands now. Too much blood. “No no no…” Luca grabbed her wrist weakly. “Ava…” His voice sounded wrong. Weak. Fading. Fear cracked through her chest violently. “You’re okay.” He tried smiling. Failed. Then suddenly One of the armored soldiers broke through the chaos behind her. Fast. Silent. A syringe glinted in his hand. Before Ava could react The soldier plunged it directly into her neck. Pain exploded through her body instantly. Ava gasped.

He needs antibiotics first. Just as I pull my hand from his, his eyes go wide. He grabs my arm and yanks me back—just in time. A human lunges forward, knife aimed right where my heart would’ve been—and hits the warrior’s chest instead. I freeze. He took the hit for me. Rage ignites. Layla merges with me as I snarl, tackling the human to the ground. My claws elongate and I shred his throat with one hand, his stomach with the other—spilling his guts like ribbons across the dirt.

"Javelin, how dare you think you can save this family?" Her hand points at Avanti. Avanti looked with anger. She almost wanted to squeeze her hand if I didn't hold her back in time. "Don't please,". I mumbled. Pinky pulls back and accidentally bumps into a lamp. It broke causing her to injure herself, the second her hand fell on the broken pieces on the ground. Blood came out. "Wow pinky, you sure have a lot of blood, but don't worry, I'll help you squeeze every blood left in your body If you don't tell us where my brother is,".

I had no magic to fight with. "Use one of the dead witch's blood," Kristoff said, making a strange suggestion, and I did not know what he was thinking, but I went for it. The witch I was attracted to was not dead but was on her way. The moment my wolf touched her, I felt her magic and blood drain into me, and I suddenly felt like I did when I pulled on Desiree's magic, only that this was my magic. I felt the life force of every blood member, and I realised what had happened to me. I moved toward Maria and sent a blast towards her ash mass. It was forceful enough to release Desiree from its grip. Their cover over the atmosphere had reduced. So I pushed harder, allowing Desiree time to gather
